I was looking for a place for us to grab a quick lunch and was suggested to try the Vanhout Bakery. A bakery for lunch? Well I'm glad I did. Good food and then pick up a fresh supply of baked good to go home with. This will be a weekly excursion from now on.

We only grabbed a coffee here so we can’t comment on the food although it all looked very yummy! The coffee was okay but not worth the trip if that is all you are looking for.The bakery was clean and the staff super friendly. All items looked fresh!

I enjoyed the breakfast I had there it’s good food and I’m all for supporting local businesses but the only reason it’s not 5 star for me is because the staff needs to work on their friendliness when they greet customers and taking orders. There was one employee that seemed so annoyed that she had to pick up the plates on the tables. I also didn’t see them cleaning the tables after picking up plates so I can’t say much on the cleanliness. However, the guy that is the cook I assume was really friendly. The ladies not so much. But it is tasty food.

Extremely friendly service. Some baked goods are better than others when it comes to flavour. They offer a fabulous array of preserves and pickles etc.

Good food. Good service. Friendly staff. Awesome pasteries and great deals on day old buns bread and donuts. Best burger and fries in town. Awesome donairs as well. Homemade soups and sandwiches are hard to beat. Cant say enough. Family run operation. Fried chicken and wedges ready to go. Chilli cheese hot dogs. Try the jalapeño cheese and bacon burger with crispy fries and gravy and it'll make you a believer.
