Very dirty, mould, moulded food in the kitchen, many hairs and dirt, stinky and definitely not worth the money! Also the keys for the lockers can open the other lockers -.- Only good thing is the location but nothing more. Ok for one night but definitely try to find another place!!

Terrible hostel! Dirty and smelly. My locker key broke due to the flimsy key and I was charged 9 dollars in order for her to replace the key even though she had another one on hand. Go to Auberge Saintlo which is literally 5 minutes down the street. WAY BETTER quality and clean. Free breakfast too!

Having stayed at a few hostels (not in montreal though), i must say it is not at all a good place. The only star i can give is for the lady who runs it. She is friendly. Everything else is way below average. Bed bugs, crowded rooms, not well kept kitchen etc. Even the washrooms aren't appealing even though I must appreciate the effort from the house keeping. I feel it isn't because of the management, rather it's the guests. You don't get a safe (although myself and all my belongings were perfectly safe.), well mannered vibe from the guests at this place.Terribly sorry, if that sounded judgemental!

Bad vibes all around, sketchy entrance stairwell. Reception person did not talk much and was very vague. Other guests also seemed not very social. We decided to cancel, and book a different hostel.The room itself was okay, with lockers.

To be honest if it wasn’t for the English kid who helped me during my stay I would have gave 3 stars due to no a/c upstairs and tv was terrible old and just a couple of Chanel’s but apart from this all in all not bad will go again

I stayed at this hostel in August 2022. The lady who ran the hostel was very nice, but it was otherwise an awful place to stay. A person I met in another hostel right before I came here told me that I should switch my reservation, and I wish I would have listened to him. I had to squeeze through a small gap to get to my bed, the lockers were broken, the only air-conditioning during a heat wave was a single window unit, and the kitchen was in a state of disrepair. Thankfully I managed to go to a better place to stay the next night.

The woman who works there is friendly and nice! The place is in a good location, but it's extremely dirty. Mold in the walls, water dripping from the ceiling, old and nasty food in the kitchen. The pictures are not as they seem. I left early because I just couldn't stay there another night.

Stayed here twice this summer. The woman on the phone both times I stayed refused to believe I had paid for the room at first despite me ordering on booking dot com, which was rude and unnecessary as I had just arrived tired with all my bags. Check in took hours on the first trip, almost as bad on the second. Client base has a lot of sketchy tourists with strange manners that make you reconsider whether sleeping is a safe prospect, and llong term stays by struggling locals.
