Jono & Laynie {Photo + Film}

We planned our wedding with two months of the date and through a friend's recommendation we found Jon. Since the first meeting with Jon there was open communication on the type of wedding pictures we wanted. He was professional and made us super comfortable especially on the day. Neither my new wife and I like having our pictures taken but Jon went above and beyond to make the picture experience as painless as possible. He even stepped in to help me with cufflinks when they wouldn't go on easily. We had a few kids in our wedding party and Jon did everything possible to make them smile and get the picture he wanted to get. He was super quick to get the pictures back to as within a week he sent us the link to see them. We were super lucky to have him as our photographer and will recommend him to all our friends.

We hired Jono & Laynie for our wedding. They captured our day better than we could have ever imagined. Not only are our photos stunning but our wedding video is perfect. I highly recommend them for both photo and video!

Jono & Laynie are an incredible duo to work with. We’ve worked with both Jonathan and Layne over the past couple years for engagement, wedding, maternity, and newborn photos. Each time they have both been professional, responsive, and committed to making our photography experience positive and enjoyable. They arrive early, and don’t leave until they’ve made sure that you are satisfied with their work. The photos themselves are beautiful; Jonathan and Layne use an excellent balance between providing direction for us to pose for the photos, as well as capturing the “real”, or more candid moments between us. They are efficient and timely with their work as well. We’ve never had to wait long for our photos to be edited and sent over to us. The web program they use to house the photos is easy to navigate and allows us to create albums to download for our personal use. The video editing was also impressive; the other team members who recorded our wedding day were great to work with, and captured some really sweet moments of our day. Finally, our favourite thing about working with Jonathan and Layne is that they are incredibly down to earth. We’ve always felt comfortable working alongside them, and love the ease in which we get along with both of them. If we could offer more stars, we would!

Jonathan did incredible work for our wedding photos at Ancaster Mills! He knew the best locations and secret nooks for perfect shots and managed to catch light in such beautiful ways. He got some nice photos of our guests too. His team was very easy to work with and he was also super responsive despite how busy they've been this wedding season. Would definitely recommend!

Jon did an amazing job of photography for our wedding. His easygoing and direct style helped us relax on the day as we knew we were in good hands. He is a real professional and takes great care in his work, from arriving early to directing group photos to staying flexible on the schedule. The final photos were done quickly and look so beautiful.

Layne and Jonathon were a pleasure to work with - very personable and made us feel comfortable with the camera. They got so many great shots showing personality and that were natural and true to character. They even went above and beyond to provide some help on the day of our wedding. Definitely recommend!

Jono and Layne are so personable and easy to work with, and have on multiple occasions bent over backwards to make last minute sessions work and have consistently delivered a product that exceeds expectations. These guys are excellent people and excellent photographers.
