Bought my puppy hear today. Park is nice, owners are nice. Could use dog fountains though

Hawthorne Dog Off-Leash Area
Small, but nicely set up dog park. Logs for climbing and jumping over. No water, so you may need to bring your own. Lots of onleash trails outside to wander through.

No trees, benches or fountain within the fenced area. Covered in fine bark mulch that gets into your shoes and becomes irritating.

I love this little dog park.Not as large as the one on 140-st in Surrey but great for us.Princess has some special friends here!Penny, Bandet and Marley to name is few.

Hawthorne Dog Off-Leash Area
Relatively small (~2500sqft) dog park but very nice, clean, and quiet. Other dogs/owners are very nice and friendly. Hawthorne Park as a whole is beautiful and peaceful.The only thing I don't like about the park is the saw dust that they use as ground cover. Although it makes poop easy to pick up, it gets really messy on the dogs and in your shoes. I had a hard time getting those wood chips out of my dog's eyes.

Hawthorne Dog Off-Leash Area
I like this park cause it's peaceful and subcludded. There may be the occasionally dog that comes by, which is nice. But I also like coming here to play fetch with my dog knowing that other dogs won't take my dogs ball away. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because I wish they installed lights around the dog park so we could stay out a bit longer.

Hawthorne Dog Off-Leash Area
We visited this place for the off leash dog park. Our dog had a good time in the park with other dogs. Apart from the off leash dog area, there is a pond as well and we saw a bunch of ducks swimming!! Although parking towards the dog off leash area is not available as it is towards the residential side, it is good to park on the other side in the South parking area on 144st.
