I’ve been in several cities in Canada over the years, shopping for good used merchandise and on occasion requiring emergency financial backup provided by pawnshops, banks, money stores. Here at BST Pawnbroker in Sault Ste Marie you will find some of the best instant pawn and financial services, and sales; tools, games, jewellery, watches, tech; good buyback and return policies. In short, if I’m short, I find good dependable, honest support when times are just too tough. And when times are good I always find used items at half what they would cost new. Whether selling jewelry, gold, silver or unused valuables, or buying rare games, coins, tools for the job at hand, this store is worth a stop. Supporting local business extends to the used market as well, and I’m always big on that.

Was in the shop waiting for quite a while as the staff were on the phone. Found them to be very condescending with my questions as I was new to pawning items, and they made me feel like I was wasting their time. I went downtown and found their staff very attentive and helpful. It is further out of the way but will definitely go downtown instead from now on - way better service and I got a good price for my items. Not sure how the west end location stays open with service like that - probably bankrolled from the downtown one - may as well go there!

Great Shop! I had been looking for a birth year Rolex for years and wasn't expecting to find one travelling through Sault Ste. Marie. The guy there bought the watch I was wearing and sold me the one he was wearing. It was a great experience and a great deal. Five stars for sure.

I have been buying my pet food (locally) next door for the last 6 years. This corner shop is a staple to the local community and always has wares that are unique and special. COVID has made it difficult to shop over the last few months but it is still possible. Thanks for services you offer and we will continue to shop locally.

Great experience since I walked in. Can't look around due to Covid restrictions but I explained to them what I needed and the knew exactly what I was talking about. Super friendly, 10/10 would recommend!

Unfriendly staff. There isn’t any level of customer service but decent prices so it’s not a 1*Edit: I have always worn a mask into every store since the mandate started. Yours was not an exception. Nor was there any conversation about masks between me and anybody there.
