Have always had good customer service with these folks whether it was to instal propane line to my home generator or recently when I wanted my tanks filled before my new driveway paving. Always attentive and prompt. Emailed in the morning for tank filling and truck showed up in the afternoon.

been a customer for over twenty years started when it was Budget Propane. They supplied and installed a hot water heater a year ago and now i find out from my installer they didnt follow the law. When told, they said they would not come out to correct the problem when my installer was present and would try for tomorrow but were very busy"..........like i care. Their accounting practices are a joke

Not impressed! I was a loyal Budget/P38 customer for 9 years. I was on an auto fill agreement where they automatically fill propane when required and no involvement required from me (the customer) other than paying the bills. This agreement worked great for 9 years. In June 2021, I ran out of propane on a Saturday. I had no use of my range, bbq, and no hot water. I thought no problem, these things can happen so I called the Valleyfield 24/7 number at head office as the Arnprior office was closed on Saturday. I was told from the P38 individual I spoke to at Valleyfield l, that they will fill me up as an emergency fill at a cost of $200 for trucking fees paid by me. Why would I pay for their screw up? We had an agreement with auto fill that I pay the bills and they monitor and fill propane. They didn’t honour their end of our agreement. If I was in a will call agreement and I ran out of propane, I totally understand that the customer should pay, but why should I pay for their screwup? As a result, I have switched suppliers and any supplier I have spoke to since have clarified to me that on an auto fill contract if the customer runs out of propane they will not charge for trucking to complete an emergency fill, as it’s the suppliers responsibility. No more P38 energy for me. I would prefer to pay a little more and have reliable service from a supplier that honours the agreements in place. I live in West Carleton for reference.

No problem taking money out of your account but when there's an overpayment, good luck getting that back. Really shady.

Been a good propane provider and their truck drivers are efficient and courteous. I’ve enjoyed my service from P38 and will continue to do business with them. The equal billing is the only route to go for new propane customers.

On an auto fill arrangement. Ran out of propane on a Saturday, woke up to a freezing house with my young child freezing. Called the after hours line and was told I would be charged an extra 200$ to come on a Saturday to fill. Typically my tanks would be filled up by now, so not sure why they had not been to fill and why now I am stuck either freezing or paying extra money for a service when I never got the service. Not impressed. The rep I spoke to on the phone was also very impolite.

We have been using this company for approximately 6 years since we changed from oil to propane. We rent 2 tanks..this year we didn't use enough propane according to the company so they charged extra money for the rental. I guess this was our reward for trying to save on heating costs. Thank you from a valued" customer."

Some guy just let himself into my unit, despite having no propane attached to my apartment, and left my door wide open to the street and public. Could've had break in or had a pet killed by traffic or otherwise. No good, please sort yourselves and your employees. Terrible.

Horrible customer service. Had to request propane twice now both requesting their option for within 48 hours" after first request their delivery date was 7 days later! After second request got an email asking me to change my account status! Plus no update with delivery date. Claims that the "request comes with a 7 day delay" Coldest weather in 100 years they don't care about you

During the last storm related power outage Richard Charbonneau, Wayne McCarty and Terry Wright responded to our email request for a propane top up promptly and had a truck out the next day to top up our tanks. (Generator was running on propane)Thanks to the p38 team for prompt and professional service.
