Central Mountain Air

I had an emergency today and had to fly out of Quesnel. The staff was great, friendly and helpful, and got me on my way last minute. The flight was comfortable and fast. It's nice to have such a positive experience with an airline!

During the recent weather anomaly throughout the province this past week a lot of flights got delayed numerous times. However CMA really came through for us by bringing in staff on Christmas Eve & a plane to ensure everyone got to their loved ones & the staff all did so with a smile on their face. One flight from Vancouver to Quesnel & a returning flight to Vancouver. What a great airline with great staff. Thank you so much.

Fabulous staff both flying in and out of Campbell River with this airline. Pleasant and very cooperative! Have flown with other airlines into Campbell River before but after this experience I will only use Central Mountain Air going forward!

I travelled from YVR to Smithers over the holidays and had the most fantastic experience! Flights went ahead as scheduled even when countless others had been cancelled. They fly out of YVR South, so smooth sailing and no need to get to the airport hours ahead of the flight. Plus, the staff were so amazing!

Completely disregard the departure times you are given. Central mountain air will fly you at their own convenience. This airline is not for you if you value your time. In my last 6 flights with CMA they have phoned me an hour before the flight and asked me to drive over an hour to the next town to catch a flight and 6 out of 6 times they have been delayed multiple hours, only one of those times was due to weather. The time I was asked to drive a town over to catch a flight they did not even do any screening process, didn't check bags or ID's it was just walk through the airport straight on to the plane. The fact that they did not screen us did not bother me I just felt like this might require breaking laws set in place for airlines and this is the type of scabby outfit that does things like that. If you can find any other airline to get you to your destination I would highly recommend doing so. I wrote this review while sitting in the airport waiting for my 6th consecutive bungled flight with this airline. In addition to this of you are still reading I have co workers that distrust this airline so much that if they see CMA on an itinerary and if it's too late to get it changed through our travel agency they will just pay out of pocket instead to fly another airline.

Pretty cool for a little airline. Super fun flight. Pilots were genuinely friendly.Fun flying through the rough air in approach to landing.

AMAZING customer service with this airline. I booked this flight for a relative who is currently having cognitive difficulties and I was worried about him making his connection in Vancouver. I contacted CMA and they made a point to call me back to discuss the situation and then ensured someone would be there to make sure my loved one didn't feel lost and got on the right plane! Due to weather and traffic accidents on the way to the airport, we were late picking him up, and again I was able to contact someone who sent an attendant to relay the message to him (he didn't own a cell phone). Thank you CMA!

I would like to specifically thanks CMA for appointing such a Capable and Caring Staff, they helped me a lot the one of the employee of your Mrs. MARYAM helped me a lot and she is really so kind she helps the customers a lot and i have experienced it. Thanks Mrs. MARYAM and CMA.

Wow. Absolutely amazing airline, and amazing staff. I have had such a crazy morning with flights being delayed, Vancouver Airport Staff giving me wrong directions.. it was not until I walked into the South Terminal where I was finally at peace and relaxed! My AMAZING Shuffle Driver named Robert reassured me and made sure to get me to my terminal on time. He gave me their number to let them know that I was on the way, and to hold for me! Such welcoming, and understanding staff whom made my stressful day go away. Amazing

My boyfriend recently used CMA for a quick work trip from Richmond to Terrace, and the experience has been horrible. He had a checked bag that was never put on a plane, which had left 30 minutes late, so he was escorted off the flight from Richmond to Prince George, his connector, onto the flight to Terrace. When he was getting rushed off, he asked them if his bag (that has work gear that costs hundreds of dollars, since he is a field archeologist) will be there for him, since he works in the snow for 8 hours or more, digging. They reassuringly told him yes. Upon arrival he finds out that it was left in Richmond because it wasn't even tagged and that someone would be coming that night to give it to him, as it's been loaded on a plane to Terrace. So only a minor inconvience. Well, they actually sent it to Fort Saint John because that's where they thought he wanted it, even though he spoke to them many times about being in Terrace. Now he has to go to and buy clothes to sleep in after the second night of his stuff being lost, and has been moved to work somewhere he wasn't on intending to work. The company that hired him for the short contract now had to buy and supply him with gear to work in their warehouse. Gear he has, in his suitcase, that is in Fort Saint John. Each night they told us it would be arriving and if it didn't, to call this number. When it obviously never arrived, he would call that number and it would be someone on the other end, unhelpfully telling us that it will arrive some other time and that the flight has been cancelled. Absolutely a nightmare and we will not be recommending using this airline ever.
