Delicious comfort food, very clean establishment, good prices and attentive staff. I had the Haddock with fries and coleslaw, the batter was thin and crispy, good portions and tasty. The coconut cream pie is made by a 92 year old local and it was extremely good, highly recommend. Retro decor and a familiar welcoming ambiance complement this place.

Fast, affordable, easy and yummy. The burger and milkshakes were delicious - we ate them outside on a picnic table. The staff was the best part - lovely people.

Saturday of the May long weekend, they were open before noon. While the dining room was closed (due to lockdown rules) the burgers were excellent and reasonably priced. The service was just as friendly and welcoming as last summer and the milkshake was amazing!

Good food but bad customer service. Cranky woman who seated us told us we should have called ahead. We were just driving by, leaving town from pumpkinfest so we would have expected more of a welcome especially when it wasn't even busy ! I have never ever been spoken too in a place of business like that!

Great food! We ordered pizza and ice cream which was fresh and delicious. The service was excellent, especially since we were a big group of peopleService was prompt, food was warm and tasty. Def. a place I recommend.

We didn't know what we wanted... but Dari Bar knew. This is the place. The kind of roadside dining experience that you THINK is everywhere but has disappeared on a horizon of fast food and artisinal fare. This is AUTHENTIC Americana summer food. The burger was great (i had the stampede) and the fish sandwich was a freshly battered flakey haddock on perfect bun with tartar. Onion rings and fries are delicious diner sides! The topper was a warmed Butter Tart with creamy soft serve. Coffee. Diner Mug. Nice. We will be back!

Food was ok. Nothing to write home about but was fine. We had the pizza. It was served hot and fresh. The reason I am giving 1 star is because of the very cranky older lady with glasses who works there or God forbid owns it...not sure and I don't care. Customer service is highly important when people are spending hard earned money at your establishment and when the people you are serving are being friendly as well. I will not stop there again. A word of advice...Cheer up...it goes a long way.

My friend and I stopped here during a day trip to the County. The fish and chips are the best I’ve had outside of England. The fries were the perfect crispness and so tasty, the fish was excellent. I’m now craving it!

It’s a shame to see a place I’ve been coming to since I was a kid go so downhill. My family has had a cottage in Wellington for almost 100 years, and this has been our go-to for ice cream forever. The other night we rushed here after an early dinner because we had gone the night before only to find out it was closed... at 8pm. We got there a little before 7:50 and there was a family in there ordering. The second my family of 6 walked in the woman behind the registered said (quite loudly) “you see... it happens every single time I’m telling you, it’s always a ridiculous crowd of people right before we close” and rolled her eyes. Seriously? We then all ordered fairly simple orders- scooped ice cream because we felt bad having them make us a milk shake or anything, paid (and tipped well) then sat outside. It was 7:55 when we sat down and an old couple pulled up and running out of their car to get inside. But wait.... the doors were locked. Lights on... two nasty women behind the register looking at them.... the sign on the door saying it closes at 8... and two sad adults who just wanted good ice cream left with nothing. This place is a sad scene, and I am extremely disappointed with the behavior and attitude of the employees. It’s the only original ice cream spot left in Wellington, but my family will not be returning. We’ll head to one of the various other ice cream shops that have opened in the county, which likely have much better hours, and much friendlier staff!
