A hidden gem in Chinatown! This is a fantastic new discovery for me. The food was excellent and unique. The service was perfect. The ambiance is simple and relaxing, and I really like the brightness and openness of the room. I've already made another reservation for 2 weeks from now.

I recently had the pleasure of indulging in an extraordinary dining experience at Addah Restaurant, where the fusion of flavours took centre stage. From the appetizers to the main course, every dish left a lasting impression and will highly recommend Addah Restaurant. To kick off the meal, we tried their short rib & lobster flatbread appetizer. The combination of tender short rib and lobster topped with avocado and pineapples atop a perfectly baked flatbread was a heavenly delight. The flavours melded together, creating a harmonious blend of rich, savoury sweet notes that tantalized our taste buds. It was a mouthwatering start to an exceptional culinary journey. For the main course, we opted for the Uni & Crab Ravioli and the Mughlai Biryani. The Ravioli was sold out, so we opted for their freshly cut pasta. The uni & crab was heavenly and a true masterpiece. The delicate pasta was lusciously blended with uni and crab in a creamy sauce. The dish was beautifully presented, and each bite was a burst of indulgence. The integration of the Himalayan spices added a subtle hint of warmth, enhancing the overall experience.Next up, the Mughlai Biryani with chicken took us on a journey through the flavours of the Indian subcontinent. This aromatic rice dish was a symphony of fragrant spices, tender chicken breast, and perfectly cooked rice. The layers of flavour were intricately woven together, creating a biryani that was both satisfying and memorable. The balance of spices and heat was spot-on, and the addition of sweet nodes elevated the dish to new heights. Each spoonful was a revelation, showcasing the culinary expertise behind Addah's creations.Addah Restaurant's commitment to culinary excellence shines through in every aspect of the dining experience. The fusion of flavours from the Himalayas, reminded me of blended spices used in East and South India cuisine, and adding the Pacific West Coast fusion is a stroke of genius that sets this establishment apart. The rich and complex spices, the integration of sweet nodes, and the meticulous attention to detail make each dish a true masterpiece. Not only did I have the pleasure of savouring their exceptional cuisine but also had the opportunity to explore the various facets of the establishment. From a private room for special events to live jazz/blues bands and comedy nights which I will have to attend in the future, Addah goes above and beyond to provide an all-encompassing experience for its patrons. In summary, Addah Restaurant is a hidden gem that offers more than just outstanding cuisine. The availability of renting a private room for special events, live jazz/blues bands, and comedy nights contributes to an all-encompassing experience. It's a testament to their commitment to creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for their guests.Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, looking to immerse yourself in live entertainment, or simply seeking an exceptional dining experience. Whether you're a fan of Himalayan cuisine or simply looking for an extraordinary gastronomic adventure, Addah is the perfect destination.

Delicious multi-course meals with a variety of Himalayan items to choose from. The server was friendly and the chef came out later on to greet us and thank us for visiting. The food had been brought to our table in a timely manner. The atmosphere is relaxing after climbing the stairs to get to the restaurant.

I had dinner at Addah last week and the meal was great. It was my first time at the restaraunt and I will definitely go back again. A hidden gem in Vancouver's Chinatown. If you are looking for a unique dining experience then try Addah.

Great meal tonight at Addah. Service and food were fantastic. We ordered from the Himalayan side of the menu. The chef chatted with over our after-dinner butter tea. Highly recommend! My favourite was the beef stew and the crispy rice aloo, but everything we had was really good and the sauces in particular were excellent.

My husband and I went for Dine Out 2023. Addah’s atmosphere is contemporary and upbeat. The service was warm and attentive. Everything we tried was great! Out of all the items we tried, our favourites were the aged beef stew, syelroti and the Himalayan butter tea. As a bonus, there was live music (Dogwood and the Shakers) - and live music happens every Friday night.

True, authentic Himalayan cuisine. While most “Himalayans/Nepalese” restaurants I had been before were basically Indian restaurants, Addah focuses on original regional delicacies. Tip of the hat to the terrific chef for promoting his native cuisine and resisting the Indian drift. Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful time at Addah, me and my partner will definitely be going back! The service staff was very kind and hospitable, keeping us in the loop that the food would be a bit of a wait because they made the food from scratch, which me and my partner and I loved. The ambiance is very cozy and quiet, which was much appreciated.I had the pheasant two ways, which was very flavorful and cohesive, plated very nicely as well. They have many vegan options, which we were happy about. The two vegan appetizers and one main we had were delicious! If you are looking for great mocktails, I can confirm that they are worth getting, very tasty and complex tastes! All in all, it was a great experience, and we hope to be back soon to try more of the menu!

Previous Emerald is now a true “hidden gem” in Vancouver’s Chinatown! Chef Rakesh is offering delicious authentic Himalayan cuisine at Addah. Very comfortable and uniquely designed dining space. Can highly recommend the Thenthuk and the T-Momo. The Himalayan Sunrise cocktail is a great twist on an old standard too! And if some among your group are not as adventurous, there’s a West Coast menu as well! Addah is a must try.
