LunaNova Portuguese Water Dogs - Carolynne Issa

As a first time dog owner, working with Carolynne and Joanne was an absolute dream. They answered all my questions, were extremely supportive, and created a great community for any additional support. Cordelia is 8 years old and a working Therapy Dog with St. John Ambulance, since she was 14 months, which speaks to the amazing temperament that comes from a LunaNova dog. She is in excellent physical shape to keep up with a busy toddler and our family. She is simply a special girl, and that comes from the work and dedication Carolynne and Joanne put into their dogs. I can't recommend LunaNova enough for getting the best Porties out there.

Our family welcomed a puppy from Carolynne and team Jan/22. She is the most beautiful, sweet, smart and social dog. Carolynne is so caring and makes sure to provide all the tools needed to bring home such an energetic dog. We loved our little ball of fur so much we purchased another!!

In 2018 we decided that The Portuguese Water Dog was our choice for a perfect pet! We searched for a reputable breeder and found Luna Nova! We ended up in December of 2018 with our very handsome male Portie and named him Jasper! Although he is a family pet, everything that we were told about this breed is true beyond expectations! Jasper is 100% loyal, loving, gentle, kind, amazingly agile, and possesses great stamina for exercise! His coat is stunning and our boy does not shed and not one person has ever complained of an allergy from him. Most important May just be his intelligence. He is the kind of dog that we would get again, in fact we are thinking of a second Portie right now! Research this breed and this breeder! Satisfaction guaranteed!

Luna Nova is absolutely wonderful! From the beginning of the process to the end, Carolynn was there to guide us and answer any and all questions we had.The dogs are so well cared for and there is an incredible passion for the breed.They did an amazing job at guiding us through the individual puppy personalities and we brought home the most wonderful little guy! We have nothing but amazing things to say about this breeder and would %100 recommend to anyone wanting to bring a portie into their home.

We always wanted a Portuguese Water Dog and when the time was ready we researched the many breeders. In the end we chose LunaNova because of their reviews and dedication to their dogs. Yes there is a process that you have to go through and you need to know that you will be placed on a waiting list so you will wait months for your puppy however the process is worth it. Our puppy Marvin is absolutely marvelous he is a social, confident and oh so smart. Carolynne is an excellent and dedicated breeder and is always there for you in case you have any questions. In our opinion there is no better breeder than LunaNova.UPDATE: We have had Marvin for 4 months and he is cuter & more lovable everyday. He is such a handsome and smart little man and everyone who meets him falls in love with him. Marvin is the result of the extra care LunaNova puts into their breeding program and the results show in the 5th generation of puppies.

We found Carolynne and Joanne when searching to bring another Portuguese water dog into our family. We cannot say enough about this breed of dog but more importantly about LunaNova. Carolynne and Joanne are very professional, have vast knowledge and a genuine love and passion for these amazing dogs. They go to great lengths to provide information and support to those considering welcoming one into their family and remain connected to PWD owners long after. It does not surprise us that they have strong relationships with families and that so many return to welcome other dogs from these wonderful people into their homes. We feel very grateful to have found LunaNova and to have Clementine be such a special part of our family.

Stella has been the absolute perfect addition to our home, and I cannot thank Carolynne enough. Her communication while we were waiting for our puppy was top-notch, and our whole family eagerly awaited her updates, photos, and videos of how the litter was growing. Due to restrictions, we were not able to choose our pup (or have our pup choose us) in person, but Carolynne walked us through the process perfectly, ensuring that we got the dog the best suited our household. After bringing our new dog home, we were immediately amazed at how quickly and easily she adapted to her new home, and how few accidents she had in the house (mostly our fault). I completely attribute this to Carolynne. The socialization that was done in the first 7-8 weeks cannot be quantified. It made everything easier…from training to walks to meeting new people to… the list goes on. She continues to be available for any questions or concerns; she truly loves every puppy that she breeds, and that cannot be quantified by a star-rating.

Our experience with Carolynne was nothing but positive! We could not be happier with our fur baby Nero who is now 12 years old . The temperament of this breed is most impressive, they are loving and faithful. As a breeder Carolyn is available for all your needs and inquiries.We could not be happier!!

Last year, we decided to add a new member to our family because we thought it would be best for our great dane. Turns out, it was the best decision we've ever made! We looked up different breeds and ended up on the PWD after thorough research. We then reached out to LunaNova PWD for information and this breeder was and still is amazing! Carolynne gave us all the information we needed to decide whether or not the PWD was the right breed for us. We now own a beautiful 4 months old pup that is healthy as much mentally than physically. We love how supportive this breeder is and how she always answers our questions quickly. This breeder helped us so much that we decided to drive all the way from Quebec to get our puppy and we don't regret it one bit. She is passionate about her breed and it shows!
