WestJet Cargo

I was waiting to pick up from west jet cargo for almost an hour. I called the line about 10 separate times and left a message and even called west jet helpline. They called the cargo people a bunch of times and no one picked up. I ended up getting what I needed, but the associate who came out and saw me waiting didn’t even come to talk to me. He walked by me completely and I had to stop and ask the associate if they worked for west jet cargo and I finally got my package. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. If I could give zero stars I would.

If I could give a lower score than 1 star, I absolutely would.My wife, daughter and I took a trip recently with WestJet, and on the return flight home, our stroller was damaged. We didn't use the stroller right away, nor did we check it for damages.9 days after returning we went to use it and realizeded it was damaged and broken. My wife called to report it and was told that WestJet makes zero exceptions past the 7 days and there was nothing they could do.I called back and spoke with Melissa at head office, who must love telling people bad news, because it was clear she did not care about our story. Melissa told me that it had to be an extreme circumstance for them to make an exception. I said, does not being able to afford a new stroller count? She said no and there was no one else I could speak with.Melissa, I truly hope that the people of this world show you more care and kindness than you showed me today. I also wish you a Merry Christmas and hope that one day, you can care for the people who call in to tell you their story.Thanks for listening.Jeff O'Brien

This is the second flight now my family members have taken in the last 6 months that was delayed. Now I understand delays due to weather or not enough bookings etc. What I don't understand is the less then 30 minute notice about the change. We travel from Hope BC to Abbotsford airport to collect people off the plane. A one hour drive, at 25 minutes to flight leaving Calgary to come to Abby we are already on our way on the highway and through Chilliwack. So that 6 hour delay becomes a bigger issue. Westjet, give people at least a 1 hour heads up on flight changes.

Don’t fly with them (if you can help it). Recent trip from Abbotsford to Saskatoon to see family for Christmas (2.5 hour flight). They cancelled my flight back home due to “staffing issues” and they tried to rebook me on a flight that would take TWO DAYS to get home from Saskatoon back to Abbotsford a week later.Waited hours to speak to someone and got a regular flight instead the next day.Got back to Abbotsford yesterday and my bag is GONE. They can’t find my luggage (which has valuables)So all in all try to try one of the new airlines maybe. Loyal WJ customer of 20 years and no more now!

Anyone else trying to get back money from WestJet during the Christmas break cancelations? They canceled our flight and left us to find another airline. When we asked them about a refund they told us no. Any advice on this would be helpful thanks.

ABYSMAL SERVICE if you asked me!! I AM IN UTTER DISTRESS OF THE SITUATION I’VE EXPERIENCED IN THE LAST 24 HOURS.The biggest money grab with no regard or courtesy. I missed my connecting flight from Vancouver to Calgary. My friend missed work. I missed my orientation for a new job. Have ZERO REGARD FOR PEOPLE's LIVES, AWFUL EXPERIENCE.1. We missed our flights SECONDS before they denied us entry. Security was taking her precious time, knowing and alarmed that our names were being paged “last call” for our plane’s designated departure; WE WERE ALREADY THERE.2. WestJet, couldn't possibly give us a ride at the earliest flight back. I pleaded and reached out to at least 4 people to explain our situation, and they possibly couldn’t. MIND YOU, THE EARLIEST FLIGHT BACK WAS NOT AT FULL CAPACITY, AND THEY DO HAVE THE CAPABILITY OF TAKING US BACK HOME THAT DAY BUT APPARENTLY, they couldn't......3. WORST PART WAS WE HAD TO PAY $500+ to connect to the earliest flight back to Calgary - no regard if two ***LADIES*** stayed in Vancouver for a night, no friends, no allies.4. Quote: “THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD HAVE DONE”There you have it, folks Your BEST CANADIAN AIRLINE

Westjet lost our baggage and took almost 2 weeks to locate it. They were very reluctant to give us updates and when we called to get updates the lady on the phone argued with us very rudely when all we wanted was information. :( Luckily after changing to a different employee, she found our bag and was very kind.We will continue to fly Westjet but hope they are a little more understanding and accommodating in the future.

Horrible!!! My flight was schedule for 6 am today, 7 hours later we are boarding the same stupid plane !!! Went through security, re-checked our luggage....worst service ever !!! The told us a bunch of lies!!! Hate westjet...make it better !!!!

I was late for my check in time, the young lady(Micaela?) was sooo pleasant. She made sure everything was taken care of and that I made my flight. The westjet team truly go above and beyond! A++

If i could i would give 0 stars. The worst flight ever. I was traveling with my 1 year old on this flight from London to Vancouver and return. There was a delay of 6 hours in the flight with no announcement or updates on the status. There was no attendant on the airport representing the flight. The food on the flight got finished so we couldn't get any other option apart from beef. Worst experience ever. Would never recommend anyone to book this flight.
