I had filed a property damage claim with the City of Winnipeg in which my driveway approach was damaged with the plowing done by SM Industries. This claim was filed and a letter sent by the City on July 17, 2015. I had called the company in September 2015 and the company stated that they had not received a letter and would call me when they did. Fast forward to today in which I called to follow up with SM Industries. They still claim that they did not receive the letter and after they stated that they would not repair it because they only repair curb damage. I got quite upset as they had no intention to repair my driveway approach which they stated was city property. As far as I know they should acknowledge the concern and I am pretty sure they would have received the same letter from the City that I had received by now. I called them back again to apologize for getting upset in which they in turn hung up on me and I should talk to the owner. This company has a lack of accountability and responsibilty for mistakes that they make.

Good place friendly staff. If you need your parking lots cleared give them a call book annual clearing.

Excellent job on clearing snow in 2019 fast and on top of it right away

Took several deliveries of a custom made product (never had an issue with quality), paid their invoices only when they needed the next order then didn't pay for the last orders. Kerry Minsky promised payment, used excuses to avoid paying. Sued and won, Kerry paid for a bit then stopped again.
