Tyndall Turf Soccer Field

Soft turf, lots of goals, light winds. Turf doesn't seem to heat up that much, either. Really nice facility. Great view of the mountain, too.

Great place for soccer. First time I play there and everything looks good, we'll preserved. Just (as in many other places) bathrooms are not that tidy. Other than that I am happy I found this field.

Good field. Facilities are clean. I prefer grass myself but the kids like the turf, it's nice on rainy practice days.

Where do I start…It was a crisp Thursday evening in May. The sun sat peacefully over Mount Doug, as the last of the spring wind fluttered across the delicate turf.As the referee’s whistle blew, the fate of the 14 men on the pitch was in the hands of their comrades. Shoulder to shoulder, they fought valiantly til the end. There were screams. There were tears. There were goals. There was blood. But mostly, if nothing else, there was passion. There was heart. There was a sense of virtue that scared even the brightest sun behind the mountain. No one could look, no one dared speak. No one knew what would happen next…Overall decent pitch, would play again.

Nice structure for soccer. Grass and turf fields.

Fast rolling turf. Nice view of rocky hill as a backdrop for it.

They say that there are 7 wonders of the world, but I really think they just don’t want to print new school textbooks because the Tyndall pitch is a clear number 8 frontrunner. Whenever I step foot on the pitch, I am humbled by the great shadow cast onto us by the misty mountain of Doug, knowing only the victors of the match shall bathe in the warmth of the sunset crawling over the peak behind us.

All U11 kids love this field.
