Talent Nails & Lashes

First, I will say this salon gives amazing pedicures! 5 stars for that.But if you need gel nails done, I do not recommend. I tried them for the first time in November and by the time it was time to go back for a fill, 2 nails were broken and more than half of the others were lifting. I went for my next fill and showed them what was happening and the technician said she would try something different to make sure it didn't happen again. After one day, one nail was already lifting. A week later 2 nails were broken. Another week later and 3 more nails were lifting. I went in to ask for my money back since clearly, this was again not a good job. I was told they do not refund on services. I was also told that my nails might not be good for gel. She said she could fix the lifting and broken nails but why would I get that done when this was surely going to happen again? I have been getting my nails done for well over 20 yrs (gel for over 10) and I have never had lifting and breaking like this. I will not be going back.

We found this salon through Google. We drove all the way from North Surrey. After 5 hours having head to toes done, we were extremely happy. Prices are very reasonable. Tina did amazing job on our eyelash extensions. Wendy and her gals are extremely friendly, and our nails are marvelous. Nice and clean store, won't complain about sanitation. Definitely come back. Cheap but you definitely get what you pay for. I used to book with a specific tech (and she was amazing, did quality work) but haven't seen her for a while because she only works certain days. The male tech has done my nails about 3 times and his work is extremely poor. The acrylics start lifting after less than a week and when I come back for a fill, I'll have at least one nail broken and 3 others that have completely lifted off. I've told him the issue every time but he doesn't seem to care and continue with the poor work. Last visit, he cut right into my nail bed and it started bleeding. Again, did not care, continued on working while my finger was actively bleeding. And of course, the acrylics started lifting and 1 broke after a week. Will not be going back.

WOW!!!! What can I say I have been a client at both establishments of Wendy's for over 10 years. I truly believe I have never found an establishment that cares for their clients as hers does. As I used to live in Ocean Park and now live out in Harrison Hot Springs… It is so worth the drive to have Wendy and her staff take care of all my Pretty pretty needs". Over the last decade

I never go for manicures but I thought I’d get one done for my upcoming birthday. My mom offered to take me as a treat.CONS: At first I thought the girl who did my nails was decent. However, I was really upset when she clipped my cuticle and it started bleeding. She apologized twice , although I think she needs to be more careful going forward because it’s a very sensitive spot.In fact, my wound was stinging the whole time even after she sanitized it.Besides that, at the end, I didn’t even realize that my mom had got a complimentary nail file and buffer, while I didn’t. My mom went back the next day and told the owner about it and the woman who worked on my nails LIED about saying she’d give me one the next time I come. That’s not true at all.Again, I never go for manicures so I thought this would be a nice treat. However, I am sorry to say I probably won’t be coming back because of my bad first impression.PRO: Despite my awkward experience, this Caucasian woman who worked on my nails did do a decent job with the colour. I am just saddened that my cuticle had to get hurt like that when I don’t even go for manicures in the first place. My middle finger still stings a little if I get it wet.I don’t know her name, but I hope she is more careful with her clients hands and feet from now on.

Got my acrylics done here by Aiden and I absolutely love them! He took his time and it reflected on his beautiful work. Prices were affordable and the place is clean. Would highly recommend for anyone in this area. I will be back!

I have visited Talent Nails and Salon multiple times and overall, I would recommend their services.Excellent Eyelash Results:During my visits to Talent Nails and Salon, I was pleased with the results of my eyelash treatments done by Wendy and Tina. They both did a great job, and I was happy with the outcome. The attention to detail and skill demonstrated were commendable.Time Management Issues:One aspect that disappointed me was the salon's time management. Despite being punctual and arriving on time for my appointments, I often experienced delays. On several occasions, I had to wait for up to 30 minutes before being accommodated, which was frustrating, especially when I had limited time available. Improving their scheduling and adhering to appointment times would greatly enhance the overall experience.Good Nail Work but Quick Chipping of Polish:Regarding the nail services I received at Talent Nails and Salon, I have mixed feelings. The they did a commendable job on my nails, and I was satisfied with the overall outcome. However, I noticed that the polish began to chip almost immediately. While the initial appearance was lovely, the lack of durability was disappointing.In conclusion, Talent Nails and Salon offers excellent eyelash services provided by Wendy and Tina. However, there are areas of improvement that the salon should address, particularly in terms of time management and polish durability. Despite these concerns, I would still recommend the salon based on the overall quality of their work.

Wendy has been doing my lashes for six years. I highly recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for a quality set of lash extensions. Wendy and her staff are professional, kind and very accommodating. I've had a better experience or left feeling anything but satisfied. HIGHLY RECOMMEND WENDY!
