Well this place like many others has its pros and cons. A pro would be if you like group camping or get togethers with friends or family then yes it's great. A con would be if your just trying to get away make sure you get a campsite that will actually got your camper. Our site said 21-32 ft and our camper is 22 ft long even if we managed to get our camper in we wouldn't have been able to put out our slide or we wouldn't be able to put out our awning. Plus your basically sharing your campsite with the campers beside you. All In all beautiful drive to get there but for us not worth it and just because our experience was bad doesn't mean yours will be. Hope this helps someone.

This campsite isn't great for tenting or if you want any kind of privacy. Bring your own wood... Because the sales only happen from 12 pm til 7pm. So if you want breakfast over the fire good luck.

Very relaxed camp ground that's not to busy or overcrowded. Cell service is low here, so great if you want to unplug. The lake is beautiful & great for boating / fishing. The sand here is amazing. Lots of hiking trails & wild berries that can be picked. The washrooms are cleaned daily. There is no running water here but they do have a water tank that is available in case you need it. Some camping sites are tree'd in & others are not. If you are wanting more private- book a power site. Almost all that are lake front" will be tree'd in. There is a general store just up the road that has everything & a concession truck that sells hot food. We will definitely be back!"

Was there June 19-21 2020,Positives:There are plenty of walking trails, nice views and a couple (little) beaches to swim with nice water, 1 or 2 fishing spots, a boat launch and IF you have a off road vehicle there are trails and sand dunes. There is a small store close by, depending on how you look at it I guess it can be both negative and positive that there is little to no cell service. Positive for me!Negatives:The sites were totally overgrown approximately 24” tall grass, zero and I mean zero privacy so you seem to have a group site with strangers, all 3 sites we had especially 10&11 the fire pits were full to the top with the last campers garbage which was disgusting especially with the covid era we are presently in, and the bathrooms were far bellow sanitary standards. There is also crown land beside it with sand dunes so you hear off road vehicles all day/night.I would honestly have to say that it has been my least favorite of the many many provincial parks we camp at.

One of our favourite destinations! So peaceful, beautiful, and clean. This year no water pumps were working though, so three campers in our party ran out of water before the end of the weekend. Hopefully this is rectified before next year!

Enjoyed pull-through campsite 26 for a couple of nights on the September long weekend, which was a little too open for our liking. We'd have preferred more trees and more privacy! But the bathrooms were clean and the walking trails were great. Overall, the campground was well maintained and clean. The grandkids loved the playground, especially the really neat swing, and the beautiful sand. Looked like a perfect lake for kayaking ... next time we'll bring ours. Very quiet, except for the laughter of children and the haunting eerie calls of the loons ... memorable!

Wasn't very impressed. The roads were so bad that you couldn't drive more then 5km. You try to go around some of the big holes and there were low hanging trees on the roads that hit our camper causing damage. The beach wasn't dredged either so it was all plant life. Spent both nights we were there listening to other campers fight. No idea where the conservation officers were. Camp grounds were also difficult to get a camper into.

This place was not controlled, the wood was very short and supply and also when we received it it was wet and very high-priced. When we were there there are parties all night long nothing was patrolled and we had to listen to loud bass until 4 AM. Not impressed as the washrooms are often out of toilet paper and not clean.

Beautiful spot, great lake. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is no water fill/dump station. But we already have another trip booked for this summer to go back.
