St-Christophe Hotel Boutique & Spa

Location is great, staff seems friendly, room i was in was clean albeit very dated. I think the issue is pricing and amenity upkeep. This place isn’t a “high end” accommodation at all, they charge exuberant prices, I got dinged for extra money because I booked via Expedia. Despite spending over $500 for two nights, I still need to pay $2 for an in-room coffee. The indoor pool room is boiling but the pool water itself is freezing, the outdoor area is build from wood decking which is rotted and falling apart, I’m not sure how sanitary the water is to be honest as well. The balcony is NOT SAFE, the rail is flimsy and shown in the picture is what’s keeping it attached to the building. The St-Christophe looks decent on the outside but the inside is no different from a basic motel. This is most likely a placeholder for an investor that’s more interested in the property value than the business and guest experience. I do not recommend this place unless you can get it for less than $100 a night.

Stayed here in January in a standard room and it was okay (one night for business). Had another meeting in Granby and hotels are not plentiful so decided to stay here again... This time in an executive room". Near as I could figure the executive part means vinyl floor instead of carpet. And the sofa in this executive room was attrotious....(see photo). I bet college students would throw this away....what the h*** is it doing in a hotel room?"

This hotel is one of the most hospitable hotels I have ever stayed at. I travel 200+ days per year and this hotel is one of the best I’ve ever stayed at. Patrick took great care of my group and went above and beyond for us. Can’t wait to revisit!

We read a lot of good and not so good reviews prior to our arrival but like is often the case, we wanted to see this hotel for ourselves.It is a family ran hotel so we expected it might not have all the financial support a large corporation might have.Yes, there was some furniture with beat up corners and missing handles, but truth be told, those did not negatively impact our stay by one bit. Everything that needed to be functional was…The hotel is perfectly situated on a small lake near downtown! Our room was facing the lake on the top floor - sublime!!!!The sunsets were to die for. The sunrise was also visible but a little harder to see. Our room had a large spa tub.The bed was stationary on a base but nonetheless the mattress made a lot of noise when either of us moved. Not ideal for a good night’s sleep.We walked around the lake and through downtown on their great paths.The hotel may be a little on the older side but its architecture is as memorable as its location!

I travel full time for work and normally stay in hotels 2-3 times a week. This was one of the BEST hotel experiences I have had. Patrick was unbelievably kind, helpful and intentional. Will definitely be staying here again!

This place is a shell of what it used to be.With the 4 star rating that is still on their porche, and obviously is a portrait of theyre old glory (as they are no longer a 4 star hotel), its clear to see that the days of this hotel are numbered.With holes in the walls of rooms, parts of the dressers missing, to the shower focets projecting all over the place in the bathtub, its cheap. This place is cheap as all.I saw pictures of the food, and if you order the side of potatoes, it isnt a good amount, but literally THREE little potatoes, but if you order fries you will ger a plate full.The desert? Tastes like some frozen IGA ball of paste, and only ONE.Fresh bread? Stale and cold.The 'spa' is half functioning, with one of the steam baths and the showers, you know....to clean yourself before and after, are broken. The gym is smaller then a bathroom. The treatment plans are a pyramid scheme 'mary kay' style pusher.Do yourself a favor and stay away from here. Don't make our mistake. I've been in many, many hotels and get aways, and ive had a better time in workaway camps.
