Alix is a top talent GTA photographer. Her calm approach combined with her eye for detail made our wedding photos turn out beyond our expectations. We also chose Alix because she shoots with film and digital which added a timeless touch to our photos. When choosing our wedding photographer, it was important for us to know who we are investing in and her portfolio spoke to her quality of work. I am SO late to this since our wedding was in August, but life gets hectic and regardless of the date, I wanted to make sure everyone knows what an exceptional experience it is to work with Alix. Like make others, our wedding was postponed twice due to the pandemic. Alix was incredibly accommodating and although she wasn't able to photograph us on our new date, we had Ally May who shot both our elopement and our wedding day a full year later. Alix and Ally made us feel relaxed during the entire process and they handled a very difficult personal trauma, which took place days before the wedding, with grace and compassion. If you're looking for elegant, intimate and timeless photography that will never go out of style, Alix is your girl.

Alix and her team are absolutely incredible. Hiring her for our wedding was one of the best choices we made! Alix was professional, knowledgeable and quick to respond to any communication we had with her. The photos turned out beautiful, honestly not a single bad shot. Obsessed with Alix’s black and white photographs, she really was able to capture the vibe of the day. The turn around time it took to receive all the photos after the wedding was SO quick! Both my husband and I were very nervous about having our photos taken. Alix made us feel so comfortable and I felt so beautiful on that day! The only regret I have was not doing engagements photos with her. If you are considering it, definitely find money in the budget to do that with Alix. We will definitely be connecting with Alix in the future, to capture more photo memories. 10/10, can not recommend Alix enough

Alix is such a master of her craft and we are so glad to have had her capture our wedding day. I was drawn to how airy, elegant and timeless her aesthetic felt and she did not disappoint. Despite the fact that neither I nor my husband make a habit of spending time in front of the camera, Alix made us feel perfectly comfortable, and that translated to such natural and joyful photos. Alix is so fun yet professional, and did an amazing job wrangling our huge bridal party and family to get through all the photos we wanted. The quiet moments with her and Maureen in Knox before the ceremony remain some of our favourite.We cannot recommend her enough!

She knew all the great hidden spots of our venue, Langdon Hall, and found a perfect balance of candid and directed moments. On the day of, she was very professional and easy to work with. If you are looking for an awesome and kind human who takes timeless photos that allow all the magic of that real life moment to come through, Alix is your person.We had gotten engaged in September 2019 and had planned for a 2020 wedding, but as with many couples, the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to postpone - first to 2021 and then again to July 2022. Alix became our constant as we navigated this entire process, and we can’t imagine anyone else having been by our side to capture our special moments.And when I say special moments, there ended up being many over the last three years! We loved doing our engagement photos with Alix after reuniting in Toronto in 2020 following 7 months of being separated due to border measures during the pandemic. Alix made us feel so at ease in front of the camera and we were so thrilled with the final photos!When we wanted to also elope in 2020 having been successfully reunited (despite needing to postpone the full wedding itself), Alix also helped make that a reality - connecting us a network of her colleagues offering a mini-elopement package. The ceremony and portrait session at Evergreen Brickworks is one of our favourite memories as a couple and Alix provided us with the perfect preview of what would come for our full wedding/reception.We finally had our full wedding and reception this July, and having Alix (and Ally-May!) by our side helped make our third wedding date the charm. Alix was such an expert in wrangling a very excited wedding party and family members and finding the perfect spots at Langdon Hall to shoot. We were looking for a timeless look, but with some fresher, modern takes, and Alix did an amazing job bringing that energy out in every photo.Bottom line is we cannot recommend Alix enough, and we hope to have her capture many more of our life milestones moving forward. Alix is an incredibly talented photographer who makes the full experience so fun! We left our engagement session with Alix so pleased, and it made us so excited to work with her for our wedding. Our wedding photos turned out sooo beautiful and we received so many compliments on them. My bridesmaids kept saying how Alix felt like a friend the entire day!

Book Alix ASAP! I was looking for contemporary lifestyle photography over those gimmicky commercial kind with overly used baby props. I had initially booked Alix for newborn pictures after seeing a colleague's beautiful wedding photos however due to scheduling conflicts we didn't end up booking until my baby was almost 2 months old. I was a bit worried we missed the window for capturing the newborn stage however the shoot went seamlessly and once seeing the pictures I was so happy with the outcome and think it turned out way better than expected.Alix is personable and along with her calm nature my baby felt so relaxed. When I received the final images and asked family members to pick their favourite shots they had a hard time selecting since there were so many great ones. Also I advise you not to get the images printed at other retailers since the quality is not good when compared with Alix's excellent printing capabilities. I will definitely use Alix again for future milestones!

Alix captured the magic of our New Years Eve wedding and gave us an incredible range of photos. Alix is incredibly professional, creative and a pleasure to work with. The turnaround for our sneakpeaks and final gallery were light speed and we couldn’t be more appreciative.
