I began with Day Programs for a couple of months, then decided to try the Respite Hotel. My loved one had stayed at two other respite facilities previously, where they had made it clear that they didn't want him back. I was delighted when M&C not only said they would welcome him back, but that they were very pleased with his progress and level of comfort. The staff at M&C took the time to get to know and understand him, and took any difficulties as a challenge to solve. My loved one was very happy there, very comfortable and really enjoyed himself. At the point when he stayed at the Respite Hotel, he had refused to take a shower for a year and a half. In his first 3-day stay, he took a shower twice, then had another one later at home. The staff at M&C worked wonders. The fact that they welcomed him back for a second stay speaks volumes about their care and knowledgeability. I would highly recommend M&C to anyone looking for a day program and/or respite care for their loved one with dementia. They are truly wonderful!

Our Mom stayed for respite for a week earlier this month.Mom said the people working there and staying there were nice, and she was more responsive after her stay. Otherwise, I would be giving 2 stars.At the assessment, the lead nurse put an Animatronic cat on Mom's walker. Older adults should not be walking with items on their walker. She walked so fast that Mom was walking too fast, trying to keep up with her. I said loudly You don't need to go so fast"

My mom(with dementia) was the first member of Memory & Co back when it opened in March 2022. This facility has amazing knowledgable staff who care for their members and I saw my mom glow every time I saw her. That in itself made the difference for me!The place was spotlessly clean with interactive activities(my mom bounced a basketball at 81!), tasty meals and I felt very comfortable with having her stay there, so much so that we eventually increased the amount of time spent there to give more relief to my dad.I highly recommend this place, its like a fancy retreat/hotel where it takes the burden off the caregiver and gives them peace of mind that their loved one is in good hands! We used them from March 2022 until November 2022 where life had changed and I had to move my mom closer to me in north of the city, otherwise I would still be using them today!A big thank you to the Memory & Co team and I am forever thankful to your staff for taking such good care of my mom.

This is such a great place for Mom and Me. Mom has a great time here. She has meet lots of friends, and the staff are great. This place allows me some time too, to get things done or take a day off without worry! Thanks Memory & Company.

My Dad started attending Memory & Company in June 2022 as a part-time member and has been there full-time since October 2022. I am comforted knowing that he is receiving excellent care. I never thought he would be playing bean bag toss, mini putt or doing chair yoga and art activities, but he is! The monthly calendar is filled with activities for the members to participate in.Dad enjoys the music therapy program and watching the Blue Jays games on the big screen and always tells me the food is excellent. The outdoor patio is a great place for visiting during the summer. The staff is wonderful and my Dad's care is tailored to what he needs throughout the day. I am so happy to see him interact with the staff and they have taken the time to know him personally. The directors, Lauren and Stephany are very approachable and professional and are always there to answer my questions and offer guidance and support.

Great patient care, wonderful staff and cuisine. Lighting is very inviting and bright, and private rooms are spacious and modern.
