Old Orchard Farm

I can without any hesitation say that the coaches at Old Orchard Farm are incredible. They are talented, experienced, supportive and knowledgable. The facility is an amazing mix of older barn and new barn with approximately 115 acres of stunning landscape. The jumps are expertly constructed - for cross country and stadium. The small ring in the lesson barn has teaching aids to support the youngest and oldest beginners. The horses and ponies that are used in the schooling program also range from completely beginner friendly, bomb proof and gentle - to appropriately challenging for advanced riders of ALL disciplines. The facility is well maintained and organized. Safety is of great importance and Linda and the staff lead by example with expert horsemanship.The schooling show series is one of the best in the area and OOF has been praised by coaches, athletes and spectators for how well run the shows are - how supportive and friendly the staff and volunteers are.Pentathlon Canada and the Canadian Pony Club have both run successful regional, provincial and National events at Old Orchard. The Ontario University Equestrian Association has also run divisional and provincial competitions at Old Orchard - and the coaches as well as the horses have been recognized for their achievements.Old Orchard Farm is an unbelievable TOP NOTCH facility and has been the best choice my family made five years ago to have our children take lessons, attend clinics, compete in shows and attend training camps.

This is an amazing beautiful facility with the nicest people. I have been riding here for many years and it feels like a second home and family to me. All the coaches are amazing and supportive. All the horses are very healthy and happy doing their jobs. I recommend this barn to any beginner or experienced riders that need to find a place to keep their horse or take lessons! :))

OOF is an awesome equestrian community! Horses are lovely, coaching is great, people are the best. Home away from home for me for the last 7 years and I wouldn't have it any other way.

After 7 and a half years at old orchard farm i can honestly say that it is the best thing that ever happened to me. From teaching me how to ride to riding at the CW trillium circuit i can say that the coaches are amazing there. the facility is well run. the horses are always taken care of and i would highly recommend it!!!

I've been riding for 8 years and this is definitely the best barn I've been to, with the best coach, facilities and horses. The prices are quite reasonable considering the expenses of caring for horses are so high. On top of all of this the community at this barn is also such a great one.

I have been riding at Old Orchard Farm for three years and I have learned more and had more fun than my five years at other barns. I have made so many friends and made lot's of life skills. The best barn out there by far.

Amazing place filled with love. Here they treat the horses with so much love and care, all the kids running around and helping brings such a lively environment. Everyone here from the instructors, the students, the parents love being here. I would highly recommend it.

Had an amazing time her. Great place. Horses looked after well. Alot of room for parking. They put on a really good show. My daughter had her first competition her and loved the experience. They have several washrooms and a BBQ stand also places to buy riding gear. Can't wait to go back for the next show.

My daughter has been riding at Old Orchard Farm for seven years and she's gone from absolute beginner to showing at the Trillium level for the past three years. OOF is her home away from home. I love that she has a knowledgeable and invested coach, the ability to learn on different ponies and horses, and is part of a welcoming facility and community.
