The beds were terrible, it was like sleeping on plywood. The rooms were not very clean, not one picture on the wall, and the smoke detector kept beeping sporadically. The toilet had rusty streaks in the bowl. I will never stay there again and I do not recommend it.

I often stay in Barriere because of work. Every time I live in Y5motel because it is the new owner, the floor and bedding have been replaced, many old air conditioners have been eliminated and the house has been painted! Everything is comfortable!

Functional, clean, attentive staff, good price for someone traveling through at 89.00 for one person. Everything worked: wi-fi, TV etc. Would surely stay again. Thank you.

The owners were friendly and helpful and there is a gas station and A&W just up the road which was super convenient! My kids enjoyed seeing the horses in the yard beside! There's train tracks out back but train didn't blow whistle or make much noise (unlike in Valemount) so we enjoyed watching the trains go by also!

Bed bugs!!! This place deserve 0 stars. Smelly rooms, shower with only HOT water (outside temperatures +38C), insolent staff and the cherry on top - bed bugs. It says on the doors of the office of this motel BC Approved Accommodation". I guess BC is OK with bed bugs in their hotels."
