Butler's Garage

I have a 2007 vibe which has needed some TLC over the years. The Butler's Garage has been excellent in quickly troubleshooting and resolving my issues the first time correctly (A/C, clutch, brakes, oil changes, etc.). They have even saved me money (I was told that I needed all my brake components replaced elsewhere but Butler's Garage did not recommend it and I am still happily driving with those same brakes 5 years later.). I highly recommend Butler's Garage, they have been in business a long time and really know what they are doing!

I highly recommend anyone to go to Butler’s garage. Chris and the other mechanics are top notch, know their stuff and quite seriously one of the most honest mechanics I’ve ever had the pleasure to have work on my car. Incredibly nice, super helpful, did a great job and also talk to you about prices before starting any work. Again, highly recommend coming to Butler’s Garage. As long as I’m in Sudbury, this is the only place I’ll ever take my car to.

Great Service! Will recommend highly. Brought my vehicle in for certification, the price was very fair and they were able to fix parts rather then changing everything, saving me lots of money. I will be back for sure!

My car stalled and they asked me to bring it in right away to see if it was safe to drive, when other mechanics couldn’t see me, some for weeks into the future. They made sure to contact me before doing any fixes, gave me a ride home so I didn’t have to pay for a taxi and then called me a week later to ask me how my car is performing.

A positive and informative experience. Chris and his staff are personable and go above and beyond to solve problems. The work was done in a timely manner and I was given lots of input and options. I have great confidence using the services at Butler's Garage.

Called to ask about an ignition switch, and from the moment the phone was answered the man was rude, I decided to ask if they were busy anyways, and told him what the issue was, and was told he could maybe fit me in but that it could be other issues, ect... He got even more agitated with me when I said I fix my own vehical for the most part and then tried using more garage talk like Im retarted, and know nothing about my own vehical. I do not recommend calling this place, I was only calling because I need to have it towed to a garage since it clearly wont start without the ignition switch properly working.Do not even bother calling this place, he is the most offensive mechanic I have ever had the displeasure of calling, it was like it was a waist of his time to speak to me for 2 minutes.Maybe hire someone to answer your phones if it is such a burden for someone in the shop to do, would be my advice, you might get a few customers.

Although they were busy, they were able to squeeze me in to identify an issue that I was having with my old Jetta and then again years later when I had problems with my RAV4. Butler's garage was very helpful in fixing the problems and I am very happy with their service.

Getting your vehicle fixed takes time. Getting it fixed properly also takes time - sometimes a little extra time - because good garages are busy. Butler's is great: knowledgeable, honest, fairly priced. Imagine that!

this is in response to kelly hamiltons post ,i was there at the counter when Chris asked me if he could answer the phone . what you don't know and are so quick to judge ! is that Chris answered the phone with out his crutches because he has a broken heal , And that there was me and two other customers there .Then through the conversation when he was asking you questions to why you need to have the ignition switch changed , and you got upset at him and started screaming because he pulled the phone away from his ear and we could all hear it ! you do not speak to somebody that is trying to help you by talking to them that way ! That is abuse Chris is the type of person that takes the time to explain things to all his clients not just women , he does this so he can educate you on your car and the repairs that need to be done or will need to be done in the future (most people live from pay check to pay check , and have to budget ) because he does this , i have told all my girlfriends to go see him and they are all very pleased with the service and quality of everything they do at his shop . And another thing , he is like a doctor for cars . you you try walking into a doctors office and tell them you want to see the doctor now and see what their response will be . because it is a busy shop i know i book 2 to 3 days in advance . totally uncalled for Kelly Hamilton , shame on you !

Hands down best mechanic in Sudbury, Chris is determined to fix any issue you have and won’t let you leave until it’s resolved properly. He was very kind to deal with and makes you his first priority. Would highly recommend to anyone.
