Excellent service - We recently had an old dilapidated shed replaced by a beautiful new Hishon Woodworking shed. All the details of the proposed work, handling of old shed destruction and removal, concrete work and assembly of the new shed was handled in a fast, efficient and professional manner. We found them easy to work with and are very pleased with our new shed.

I took several weeks deciding on a builder for our shed and was extremely happy we chose Hishon Woodworking. Mike responded to my request for a quote quickly and helped clarify any questions I had regarding materials and site preparation. The turn-around time was excellent and the quality of workmanship was the best I had seen. The installation was fast plus the work site was left perfectly clean. I highly recommend Hishon Woodworking.

Mike was easy to deal with. Good work from start to finish. Quick and responsive to get the work done well within time. Installed a good, quality building. Would highly recommend him and his crew to do the job.

Very rude!! We left work early so we could stop by and look at sheds. Drove out to poplar hill. Open hours are listed as 3-7 pm. When we arrived the gentleman would not speak with us and continued on like we were not even there. The only words spoken to us was you have to move your car". It is shame because I have always wanted stop in there. I have driven by there many times and now I am in the market for a shed so I thought of them. I would not invest any time or money into a place that cant even acknowledge potential customers."

Visited this business. Like many others on this site have stated, owner was incredibly rude when we approached the house to ask a few questions. We liked one shed and decided we would still like to hire Hishon, but after a couple of email exchanges he said he couldn't be bothered to answer our questions and told us he didn't want our business. How this company stays in business is a mystery.

We picked Mike Hishon to build our shed as the design and workmanship was better than the others we had looked at and at a reasonable price (and we have real operating windows, not a piece of plastic) Great attention to detail.Dealing with Mike has been super easy and the installation was quick…it’s perfect!

Mike just installed an 8x12 pine shed on a gravel base for us. I was highly impressed with the build quality and the friendly and efficient service. I would not hesitate to recommend him!

Whoever drives for them could learn to slow down & be more careful passing, especially when pulling a trailer.I don't drive really slow, but thanks for coming out.I checked my speed as you raced past me, I was 8-10 kmph over the posted limit. You are a terrible driver, and if you care as little about your workmanship as you do others on the public roads, it's no wonder your business has such poor ratings. You're quite the charmer though!Want a tissue?

I contacted Mike Hishon enquiring about a shed for our backyard. He told me that there would be a $75 site fee. I agreed to this, sent him the e-transfer and then tried to set up a time with him to come via email but he did not arrange an appointment time after multiple emails. He asked for photos of the yard which I sent. After a couple weeks of back and forth, he sent me an email informing me that he had come to my house when I was not home, looked over my fence (as the gate is always locked) and decided he could not do the job based on a couple factors which were reasonable (low carport roof and narrow access). I asked if he would return my $75 since he never actually did a consultation with me and he refused!!!! I emailed him and explained that was not fair and he said that is the fee, period. I have worked with many contractors, good and poor ( and have never felt the need to write a review) but must say I was shocked by his lack of professionalism. I wish I had read the other reviews before even contacting this man. Just as an aside, we could have looked at the fence entrance on the other side of the house and we would have even offered to take down part of the fence to accommodate access if I had even been given the chance to meet with him (for the $75 he charged me!!!).*******Thanks for the prompt response Mike and for the refund of the $75 fee.
