My partner and I have been coming to this coffee shop for years now. Always a good experience until today. My girlfriend asked for a glass of tap water and the barista poured a little bit of tap water into the coffee cup, maybe half full. After we pay we see a 1.50 charge… for the tap water. We asked the lady about the charge and she waved us off and just said that’s the charge for the tap water. Little dishonest things like this do matter, she probably claimed it as a tip and pocketed the change. I would patronize somewhere else next time you go to the market.

Recently revisited the Pasta Mia store on the lower level of the Lawrence market . Known for their high quality pasta and great coffee, the thing that actually left a great impression to me was their olive oil and balsamic . I use it in pretty much every dish nowadays and its become part of my cooking routine . Highly recommend you try them .

Friendly staff. Located in the basement of the St Lawrence Market. We got the olive oil and marinara sauce.

Recommended by retailers for coffee, no fault, but not my favourite. Prices are reasonable.

I was excited that they use illy coffee but their iced latte was not good(just bitter with no aroma) and overpriced. I finished all since I really needed caffeine.

A wonderful experience with some of the best coffee in Toronto. For a real espresso/latte/cappuccino you can find no better place nearby. A spectacular selection of fresh pasta as well. Will definitely be back with other friends and family!

We are regulars at St.Lawrence Market, and this spot has the espresso game locked up. The pasta and variety here is so unique but it’s that espresso that keeps us coming back (and the service is kind, other hip spots can be a bit curt when things get bus. These are nice folks.)
