Westmount Tower Apartments

Lived here for 3 years (2018-2021). The superintendents were nice and helpful, most of the time. But they do establish strong boundaries regarding their office/work hours. Which I think is acceptable. The building is in good shape, well kept, clean, and the place is overall in a good location. Big windows and nice balconies. One thing we did not enjoy here was the fact that they do not compost, which seems odd given that other buildings in the area do. They do not mind pets as far as I know. We have two cats and the managers seem to be quite ok with them. If your apartment is facing the cemetery you get a great view of the mountain, which is a nice way to start your day. I would recommend the place.

This place has bed bugs all up in it sprayed over 7 times they still come back the land lords a stocker that puts a cup to your door and listing to your life in side your apartment and to top it off it say they allow pets they don't they'll hand you a complaint the next morning for the dog barking for 5min the night before.... So glad I left this place

We lived here for 2 years.Pros: clean apartment, responsive if any maintenance requires for the unit, nice view, quiet neighborhood.Cons:1-super cold during winter.We contacted superintendent several times to fix the heaters and increase the temperature, they didn’t do anything. They kept saying that since the unit temp is above 20 ( it was 21) so it’s good and we aren’t supposed to do any other work!It was crazy, 21 c during freezing winter in Canada. They gave us heater for one month but they took it back so we had to purchase by ourselves.2- old cabinet and doors. Small refrigerator.3- one of superintendents (the younger one), she is not helpful.4- rent is high compared to other similar buildings in Hamilton.

Lived here for ~5-6 years, left the building because of cockroach infestation after new tenants kept bringing them in. Building owners didn't care and just told us to use borax on the floorboards. Was an ongoing issue for over a year until we gave up and moved.

have been living here for 2 years.pros: nice quiet sunny with a great view. big units with big windows. great responsible and quick superintendent. no bedbugs and cockroachescons: lots of dogs. once a huge unleashed dog came inside my unit and started barking while i was getting in.wooden stuff are really old and rotten, such as doors, cabinets and parquet. they crumble without even touch.
