After this training experience, Rupert is a happier standard poodle. We have so much more enjoyable time together on walks as I no longer am concerned about him darting off after a squirrel or wild turkey, and quite possibly taking me with him. I'm able to take him to different environments, for example where there could be loud noises, that I would have been concerned about in the past.Scott was also helpful responding to questions and staying in touch. Although I felt somewhat anxious about Rupert being away for two weeks, the results have been worth it. I recommend Scott to friends since Rupert has come home and would recommend his services to anyone experiencing behavioral challenges with their dog.

Traditional leash and treat corrections were not effective with our socialized but reactive schnauzer. Scott's guidance and program brought outdoor obedience and control we weren't sure was possible. The commands and protocol are easy to incorporate into daily life so you and your dog won't forget. As for Boarding, Scott goes above and beyond in providing exceptional customer (dog and owner !) service. His photo and video updates were excellent and included helpful training commentary. Super happy Scott was the one to introduce us to the ecollar. He did an amazing job with our 1.5 year old male Doberman. We wanted a fun summer, hiking, swimming and camping with our puppy. Scott definitely made that possible! I would highly recommend Scott to anyone!

We needed help with our 11 month old st bernard/bernese pup. He needed manners and we needed training.Scott and the crew kept us updated on a daily basis on Bentley's progress. We saw a huge difference even at day 3. Our household is no longer chaos. Perfect Dog for Life taught Bentley how to behave and gave us the tools to succeed. I have no problem taking him for a walk or even taking him into a pet friendly store with us. No more tugging or biting at the leash. No more chasing him all over the house with a shoe in his mouth. He is still the fun, goofy pup he was before, just able to follow commands now. I like the fact that if we have any issues crop up in the future, Scott and his team will be there to offer suggestions and assistance as needed, before it becomes a real problem. I am SO impressed with the team at Perfect Dog For Life! We brought our COVID puppy (Dallas) to Scott and his team after struggling with basic obedience for months.Our puppy thought he ruled the house! He would not listening to anyone, unless it was on his agenda. He used to climb all over guests, and had no manners when it came to others. He was also VERY excitable, which meant getting his focus to train (or call him off) was extremely difficult.After the two week program, it's like we have a different dog. He still has his cute little personality quirks, but the progress has been night and day from when we dropped him off. Now, he listens to us on the first ask and even more exciting - I trust him off leash, allowing him to live his best life!We also LOVED receiving the daily progress updates over the two weeks he was there. 2 weeks felt like an eternity when we first dropped him off, but these progress checks certainly helped, and to watch him progress so quickly was awesome to see!THANK YOU, Meg for taking such great care of our little man while he was there!!I would absolutely endorse this training to anyone who's struggling getting their dog to listen to commands, or, who wants to be able to trust taking your dog off leash (safely), regardless of the distractions around.

Best dog training ever. Scott is a great trainer. He is so knowledgeable and patient. I did the one on one training and the results are beyond my expectations. Zorro is now a well behaved dog who is enjoying the outdoors off leash.Money well spent. Instead of paying hundreds of dollars for different training levels, at Perfect Dog For Life it’s just one payment with amazing and fast results.

We were desperate for help in getting Levi out of his pulling while walking, rough playing/ mouthing and his declining listening skills. He had been through training before but there were some things that he needed more work on.When we heard about Perfect Dog for Life, we called Scott and were assured that this would work to get Levi to the dog we knew he could be.The 2 weeks was a long time, but the daily updates and videos helped us to follow his progress and seeing him in action. Meg did an amazing job with Levi and he’s come home a well mannered dog.Their training techniques are quite easy for us to learn, so that Levi knows what we want when he’s told. He’s still the same affectionate, lovable dog that he was before, but it’s great to be able to spend time in the backyard with him and not get jumped on.Scott and Meg have been very, very helpful since Levi has come home with answers, and advice to our questions.We would highly recommend Perfect Dog for Life to any dog owner.

Perfect Dog For Life was greater than our expectations. We just got our little Pomeranian Beans back from Lorena and she was such a wonderful trainer. She took really good care of him and sent us videos every day with messages about his progress. We started to look forward to these daily. Beans really responded well to e-collar training, as has changed quite dramatically. He is calmer in the house, doesn't chase the cats anymore, come's when he's called, and on walks he doesn't pull and can even let him off leash now when were out for hikes. We we're nervous at first to have a small dog with the collar and leaving him for two weeks but honestly Lorena could not have been better with communication and playing with him and snuggling. The collar did not affect him at all, he still has the exact same personality. I highly recommend this training company. Thanks to Scott and Lorena for your help.
