Had the vege grilled cheese. Hit the spot perfectly. My party had fries (so so) and the merguez , which could have been better.We were served fast.Fun decor.

We had the best time at Frite Alores! We knew we wanted poutine and Google led us here. It was the best poutine ever! We ordered the Montreal and general Gao ones and they were to die for. The owner is super friendly and tentative. Hands down a great experience…and prices aren’t bad either.

I thought it was okay. The fries were very crunchy rather then crispy. The flavour of the fries was good however and they did not seem overcooked so I think they just do crunchy fries here. The gravy in my poutine was delicious, but theykind of just poured it all on the middle of the plate and the fries on the edge were dry without any gravy. Service was great, flavour was great, but I did not love the crunchy fries.

Fries not very good - way too crunchy for poutine. Sauce was very peppery. One dish had enough sauce, but the other was dry. Pretty disappointing food experience, but service was good.

Food 5 stars, service 1, the guys always on their phone, he didn't ask either if we wanted something to drink, he brought the bottle of water and that's it. That's a pity because the food was really tasty and the quantity was generous for a affordable price

Very delicious poutine! One of the best I tried in Québec city.I ordered one called « la plus cochonne » with bacon and fried onions. A pretty big portion. I was full and happy :)

Great food and great service! For poutine, we shared a serving with blue cheese and green apple -- strange combination with the cheese curds and gravy, but it was delicious. We ordered the Hamburgeois, the Avocado, and the Buccaneer -- all delicious, but Buccaneer was probably the crowd favourite. Will definitely try to visit again before we finish our vacation!

We have been here at lunch time, just a ghost town. Food was meh, not the worst poutine, not the best. The worst part is that they do this blasting music trick to get you to eat fast and get out. It is so nad that you end up with nothing but a headache at the end of the meal. Hard pass.

This was a great quick lunch. We’re not poutine experts, but to us, the regular poutine was very tasty. Chicken sandwich was also good. With 2 of us, we spit the chicken sandwich (with fries) and a large poutine. Way too much food and we’re generally big eaters. Friendly waitress. I think it was her first day, otherwise we would have expected her to tell us to consider the small poutine. Definitely worth a visit if you like poutine.
