Blaine Kennels Boarding, Training & Daycare

We have been using Blaine Kennels for the last few years- ever since we got a golden retriever puppy. We've used different programs they offer from boarding to the born & train program. Thomas & the staff have been wonderful. They're very knowledgeable & take great care of your pet. Also, the facility is clean & organized. We'll never bring our dog anywhere else!

Last year, I received a GSD who had come into care with some heavy guarding behaviors, high drive, and some reactivity to certain types of people who displayed weak energy. He was not able to be safely boarded at just any facility because other local (to me) places didn’t have staff trained on how to properly conduct themselves around working dogs like him and still give him the daily activity he needed. I had to go out of town and chose for him to go to Blaine Kennels based on what I was seeing with their dogs and staff. Emily and Rachel with Follow Me Dogs (and all of the Blaine Kennels staff) knew exactly how to handle him safely and how to conduct themselves around him. I didn’t have to coach them at all because they.know.dogs. I never once worried during that weekend and it’s now my go-to facility for all of my dogs and is worth the drive for me. He gets worked while he’s there and when we drive up he’s so excited to see his familiar people! You won’t find a better group of dog people who are more committed to knowing how to match dogs with people AND train them to be successful AND have them all live their best lives!

Our dogs love it there. We started to board them and they never came home stressed. I trust Blaine Kennels to take good care of my dogs when I’m gone. I never had an issue. One of my dogs also does the structured daycare they offer. I couldn’t be anymore happy with how much fun she has there. They exercise her and she gets lots of playtime. I highly recommend them as a great training, boarding and daycare facility. All the staff is so wonderful

I only use Blaine kennels. They are the only place that understands the particular needs of my dog. He is reactive. He has spent time in their board and train program. He learned a lot, as have I but still he needs experienced caregivers. I know he is well cared for there, gets comfortable accommodation and lots of play time and reinforcement of his good behaviors and things he learned during training. I never worry about him when he stays with them.I wish I lived closer so he could go to their doggy daycare. Maybe one day... :)

Blaine Kennels is truly the best of the best for doggy daycare and boarding! I’ve been a customer for 4+ years and am continually impressed with the knowledgeable and experienced staff. The facility is well maintained and beautiful! Keep up the outstanding work!

The team at Blaine Kennels is incredible, they truly care about dogs. Our dog has been going to Blaine Kennels since he was a puppy, he absolutely loves his “Friends” day. They understand each dogs personalities, needs and opportunities and work to ensure that each dog has a fulfilling day! We trust the staff with our precious Finn and are so grateful to have found a wonderful place that takes such good care of him!

What an amazing facility! All the staff I’ve interacted with have been phenomenal. I have such a hard time finding a place I trust to handle my reactive German Shepherd, Izzy. I originally found them to do treadmill training with her (which, after 3 sessions, she is already a pro at!) and discovered they also have a reactive dog day care. After the first day, they sent me videos of Izzy calmly interacting with other dogs! I seriously cannot say enough good things and I’ve never experienced a boarding & training facility with this amazing of staff.

Blaine Kennels is amazing with dogs! My dog went from not trusting other people to joining their mentor pack to help other dogs learn how to dog. They really are dog whisperers. I am so grateful to be able to send my dog to them. We also board her there when we go out of town and she does great.

Our dogs went here for the first time ever being boarded. They came back tired and happy. Our male is reactive and they were able to work with him during his stay. This place is amazing. There is definitely a sense of calm at this boarding facility!
