I brought my back bmx wheel to get my hub fixed and what I got back after 2 times going there and 4 weeks in todle they gave my my wheel back with the parts in a bag. So I took it to my dad for his help and it took him 5 minutes to fix it and it took 4 weeks for bike monkey to do nothing and be so lazy and not even put it back together right. I might buy there products bit I will never take my bike to get fixed by them again.

Very helpful staff, told us where to go to find good MTB on the island, helped us get a few supplies we needed for our bikes and let us oggle their yeti, and pivot bikes for a while :)

We purchased two bikes from here and brought countless others for parts/service. Jeff and his team have always treated us like family and go above and beyond. A great example is showing up on a Friday at lunchtime during peak season and Jeff throwing your bike on the stand to get you ride ready for the weekend.

We are biking across Canada and because of that only had a day in Truro. Our bikes needed some TLC before we leave for Newfoundland. The team at Bike Monkey were incredible, thankfully they squeezed us in and both our bikes are now running like a clock. We highly recommended them for both the quality of their work and especially for the quality of their character.

As I've said about the alternative shop in Truro... Drive to Halifax for better service and selection. I'm just not a fan of this place either. If I can't get good service why would I bother shopping at a LBS when online has better prices and selection. I get good service in most of NB, PEI, and Halifax why not Truro?

There was a friendly chap at the till who talked us up for about 5 minutes which was a nice touch.In terms of gear, my wife and I are mostly road cyclists with a hint of gravel here and there powdered about, so the store wasn't totally for us, but it's still great to be in a healthy bike store. There is an entire rack of goods we almost missed that was stuck in the hockey section I only noticed on our way out, which was weird because I found it was where the most interesting stuff was, at least to my weird eyes.Good work, keep it up. Thanks.

Great experience here today. I haven't rode a bike since I was a kid, and was curious about getting a bicycle for commuting.Mason was patient with my beginner-level questions and took the time to assess my needs. He recommended some products, and gave me a wealth of new knowledge. I ended up purchasing a new bike. Very satisfied overall, and looking forward to conquering my beer belly with a little exercise.

I have a second hand bike that had a flat. They noticed my gears were loose and fixed that up too. Let me just say, I didn't know my bike could ride this smooth!We also bought a child seat for the back of my bike with confidence through the guidance of Jeff (owner). Very kind, and answered all of our questions.We are happy to live close-by this shop. We'll be back when our little one needs a ride of their own!
