Nestled between the quaint village of New Denver and The beautiful Slocan Lake, this is a lovely and welcoming campground. I only downgraded to four stars because the best camping sites near the lake are not serviced. Bonus is that it is adjacent to the beautiful Kohan gardens. Very very busy in July and August. Much more tranquil in May and September.

We stayed here for two nights the last week of June with our 21' travel trailer. The positives:There is an online reservations system. The attendants were accommodating and allowed us to set up even though we arrived much earlier than check in.We had booked a site so we had the good fortune of having a site with power and water.Washrooms and showers were clean, but we didn't actually use them. The beach is close by.If you are a mountain bike enthusiast you can actually access trails a short ride from the RV park. The negatives:We were in site 9. The sites were super close together. The sites over by the water were packed even tighter than where we were. Generators were running because there is no power over there.During our visit we found it to be noisy. We had a Bob the Builder" cutting lumber and plywood with a power saw at 9:30 pm. There was a posted quiet time

Such a great, family friendly campground. Mix of power sites, first come first serve and reserved sites. We will definitely be back

Very nice campground right on the water. We had every intention to stay until a furry friend showed up to say hello. Decided to stay at the Vallhalla Inn and wouldn't you know the dang bear raided our picnic basket like damn Yogi Bear!!Locals told us this is a rare year for them and they will bed down very soon. We have plans to come back and stay at the campground next year for sure.Nice kids playground, very nice restrooms for the campers and has a Sani dump.

This is a stunning spot on slocan lake and what makes it even better is the facilities. The restrooms and showers are clean and work great. Coin operated showers. A playground and picnic area are available. newly constructed bike park lies right beside the campground, providing fun for kids. One thing that would be a great addition is laundry facilities as there's nothing in the town and many campers stay for long periods.

Great camp ground. We were lucky enough to snag a spot on the lake. Nice rocky beach, lots of activities baseball diamond, sand volleyball, Nikkei memorial, garden, swimming area with floating dock in the middle of the roped off area. Nice boat launch. If i had any complaints it would be that lot number 34 was a tad small for a truck/camper and a truck/tent and quiet time was at 10 pm. But other than that great spot. Not a tonne of privacy but still great campground. Saw a big black bear a few blocks from the turnoff for the camp ground. Next time will do some hikes. The lookout tower on top of idaho peak looks like a good one. Lots of hot springs in the area too And great view of stars on a clear night

Great staff, easy registration. Campsite is well maintained and clean. Though I didn't get to the beach it looked good. Bathrooms are clean. Park is close by. Really nice place to be. Quiet.

We stayed in the north side of the campground for four nights. The campground was very clean and quite. The bathrooms were also very well kept and clean as well as the shower house. The camp host was very helpful and courteous. The shower house requires loonies, 1 for each 4 minutes of use, so come with coins in hand. There are many sights to see in the area, we were able to visit the Wilson creek falls(is not any any map so ask the locals how to get there), ghost town Slocan, actually some really cool buildings with a history of the area presented. We will definitely be back!

Slocan Lake is great, and Centennial is right on the water. Playground and a large field for the kids to play. Some nice hikes and historical sites in the area as well. Some camp sites are a bit tight to the next so make friends with your neighbors.
