Nice park, good maintained walking trails, nice scenery. And a good restaurant to eat at Lily Lake.

This was a lovely park to visit. The deer were so calm, but they walked away if you got too close. The trails were well marked. I am looking forward to visiting again when I return to the area.

This is a beautiful place to take a walk ! There are so many different trails with signs as well, and it’s very well maintained. You can take some trails that are all gravelled or paved or find an off road trail as there are a few of those as well. Highly recommend checking it out.

I often drop by here for a quick jaunt with my dog, he loves our walks here because he meets nice people and friendly dogs. I also come here to fish in the lakes, so calm and relaxing, I brought my kids here and also my grandkids have enjoyed baiting hooks and the beauty of the area. We are so lucky to be able to enjoy an area in the center of our city for so many activities, cycling trails are a plenty, people come to canoe or paddle boat in the summer and snowshoe or cross country in winter. The blueberry patches draw pickers, the beaches and arches are busy with young and old swimmers and bathrooms are available, There is adequate parking throughout the park as well as doggy bags provided for the use of the public.Last but not least, We have Lillie Restaurant, and they have the best staff there, the food is delicious and the prices are great. The deck is opened during the warm season and has plenty of seating overlooking the Lake, there is also adequate seating inside the lovely bldg.Whether there for a meal or a dessert treat you will enjoy the atmosphere and the service provided..

Absolutely beautiful park in the heart of St. John. Kind of reminded me Lord of the Rings forest, sometimes mysterious and dark, sometimes shining with light. The biggest highlight for me was the little bridge that gave opening to the side of the Long lake covered with yellow water lilies. Enjoy the peace, bring your family as well. Abide..

A beautiful park with convenient access from Saint John and the surrounding area.Several places to swim, and some visually pleasing landscaping and memorials round out your visit.There's a horse farm and botanical garden, but we didn't visit them this trip.Lots of hiking trails too! Come down and enjoy nature and fresh air.

Rockwood Park is like the heart of the city. Beautiful, clean, and full of green. Fantastic place to take your family, including your pet! There is a dog park on site along with a lake that is pet friendly for swimming, a playground for children, trails that go for miles, hidden caves, a beautiful golf course, a campground, and restaurant that has the best homemade desserts!!! Recommend checking this place out.
