If you haven't tried Jax's Peanut Butter Toffee Chocolate Chip cookie, what are you waiting for? It's amazing and huge!!!!!Hewitt's Mint Chip always has been, and always will be, awesome.Salty Dawg used to be wonderful, but it was terrible today. It was gritty, and tasted more like vanilla than caramel. There were very few chocolate caramel cups, and even less chocolate ripple. RIP Salty Dawg.

Our Meetup group, Hamilton Foodies tried this cute little place out for breakfast today. Loved the decor, very sofa shop friendly vibe to it. All eight of us raved about what we had. Server was great too. What more can I say, try it!

A very friendly and unique spot for breakfast or brunch. The food was delicious, and many items were locally sourced. The baked goods were exceptional, especially the Belgians!

Friendly service, fantastic brunch, great homey atmosphere. Favorite place for brunch on weekends. Omelette is best thing tried so far (far dish), raisin french toast is great for sweet tooth. Lox egg Benedict (front dish) on croissant was ok, too rich and many competing flavors; chicken waffle was ok too, personally not a fan of the combination.

We stopped here yesterday for a late lunch, and I'm so glad we did! Amazing service with a smile, and the food was top tier. I had the breakfast grilled cheese (outstanding) and my wife had the Belgian waffle with fruit. The waffle was nice and crispy, very sweet. The best waffle I've ever had! We will definitely be returning :)

Driving around Dundas Ontario on a Sunday looking for a cool place for brunch us to a interesting little corner called Jax Sweet Shoppe. A smaller eatery with 6-7 tables and a walk up counter. Pies, Scones, brownies line the glass display along with an ice cream counter. You would think from the name that they only sell sweets, but they have a great little breakfast menu that is all locally sourced and prepared. We had french toast and a waffle breakfast sandwich. The food was tasty and the portions were great. We picked up some baked goods on our way out (how couldn't we? ) The staff was friendly and the service was good.5 stars

Very few places rate five stars, this is with no doubt one of them. Only six tables but the offerings from breakfast to baked goods to ice cream are true quality. Makes you wonder why other breakfast places fail in comparison when it's obvious it can be done. Bravo!!!
