I purchased a pair of TOTL headphones from this shop and couldn't be happier. The owner is very generous in providing a wide array of headphones to sample and there was no pressure to purchase. This is important because you need to get it right when making an expensive purchase. The owner is extremely knowledgeable in all facets of headphones and the associated technology. He was very gracious in his willingness to provide advice and assistance in the future. He has a subdued personality that quicky warms up and he demonstrates much passion for audio. He didn't put any pressure to upsell me on any accessories. I am grateful that I stumbled into this shop many months ago.

I decided to purchase (to upgrade basically) my old DAC and headphones a couple of weeks ago. After some research, I have found this place. In short, I had a great shopping experience- I was able to compare a few options which were interesting for me- I received good recommendations that helped me to make a wise choice- I purchased what I wanted, and everything works perfectly!Thanks, Charles!

Came here looking for a set of headphones to replace my older ones. Charles (the owner) was extremely knowledgeable and straight to the point. Worked with my budget and I made the purchase the same day. He wasn't selling me at all and was very patient with my questions. The headphones are higher end, you get what you pay for. I wouldn't recommend going in if your looking for used or cheaper headphones. All in all, great products and great service.

Charles knows what he is talking about, is helpful, professional, and he has a great selection of quality equipment -- which is available for listening sessions to try. Headfoneshop is certainly worth paying a visit if you happen to have audiophile needs.

Dropped by without appointment to fullfill childhood dream:high end earphones.Charles is extremely pleasant to deal with. He has great selection, knowledge and you can try before you buy.The crowd of audiophiles flocking in and out, chit chat, all made for great shopping experience.He even took the time to do the delicate exchange of sound tubes, fitting, etc.Recommend and I will be back!Thanks Charles!

I've been going to this place for years. It was actually recommended to me by a sound mixer. It's probably the only place in Toronto that has high end gear like this. Charles is really knowledgeable and he will not try to push you to buy anything that doesn't fit your budget or needs. He gives you options and lets you tries it out. He definitely doesn't hover. I've honestly spent a good hour there just listening and deciding. It is pricey so I want to make sure I get what I want. Whenever I have audio needs, I go here. No other place. I recommend it to everyone that I know who loves music. Once you go hi-fi, you can never go back! Highly highly recommend.
