Pete’s Marina

I've been renting here since 2010, Pete's marina is great. They now guide you out and dock the boat for you. Always nice people working here, skilled as well. Never have issues. Pete's marina has been arouund for many years and its easy to see why.

We rented speed boat amd a seadoo on weekend. Both were in great condition. Check-in was easy and staff was professional. Best part is they escort you out in water and someone was there to bring the boat back to dock. 10/10 from our group

Great service and good young staff to deal with. I appreciated the driver coming out to return the boat to the dock, being i am a new boat driver. One big problem though: Boat i rented had power issues. With the throttle at full, at times it could not start planing, with two adults in the front and only 7 total. Engine controls made load beeps everytime we started forward - very annoying. It worked intermittently so getting a new boat seemed not worth the hassle. I mention this power issue to manager and he states that happened before and thought it was too many people at the boat stern. Why would you not test ride it before you rented it out again?! At $600 for four hours (Blind Bay was same price for a whole day) i deserved a boat that works well. They refunded half my gas bill ($47) after i requested it, with no recompense offered by Pete's at all when i first asked. They really did not seem to care they rented me a faulty boat. Saying sorry six times does not cut it.

Improper instructions by their team led to higher charges for our group.Edited to respond to owner: we were not told what to do when and if seaweed gets stuck in the propeller. We burned 30 mins of fuel going full speed thinking it was the wind as we were not instructed properly and were late to return as the boat would not move. When we complained we were told the employees would do better. Very overpriced and poor instructors.

Had a great time and great experience at Pete's Marina. Lucas and Braedy were our contacts and were super professional and helpful. We were a tad bit late, but they allow for a 15 min grace period to start your time (so you don't loose out on any on the water). Equipment all in good shape and working. I would advise if you are in a larger group to come perhaps even 45-60 min before departure. We ended up there about 30 min before and it was tight. Water is warm, people are nice. Will be back soon.

We hired a speed boat for 4 hours and a tube which was free in the four hour deal. Staff we're all friendly and very helpful, even when I got in a bit of a muddle trying to moor up. The manageress was very professional and on the ball, when we returned from the lake she spotted a safety issue, verified how it occurred and that it was a staff training issue, she explained to the staff member in private so they were aware for the future.. We all learn as we go along and it was good to see safety taken seriously, and for her to spot it. Overall we had a great four hours on the lake and their was plenty of space out there. I would certainly recommend this company to others and can only presume the negative reviews are either because a genuine problem did arise or they didn't get what they wanted.

Flat out rude staff. First off they were all relaxing on the front porch, no one would come up to help us, after asking them to, they just said go to our website to book, and of course no wifi. After a good 30 minutes and sorting through all possible boats, nothing was available online. When I went over to ask, two of them were helping other people, wonder why they couldn’t just tell us they were all booked up for the day at first and had to waste our time for an hour.

We rented the Patron pontoon boat for 6 hours and had a great experience from beginning to end. The staff were very professional, helpful, accommodating and answered any questions or concerns we had. The boat itself was great and we had everything we needed with plenty of room for all 6 of us to spread out and relax. The kids can’t wait to come back already.

Fantastic staff - every person was helpful and professional. The speed boat fit our 2 adults and 6 adolescents, and the online booking process was smooth.

The boat underperformed for the amount of money paid and the quality of boat. There was an obvious engine issue that they did not want to admit.100% unsatisfied with customer service as I had to barter for the amount compensated. Do not recommend if you are looking to pay over $1000 for 3 hour rental with underperforming equipment!!
