Black Diamond Golf Club

If you want to play a course that makes you think about which club to pull from your bag or what type of shot would fit the hole this place is for you! Great variety to most of the holes, several elevated greens to navigate, and one gigantic pond to drive over...fairways were excellent, greens a tad slow but it has rained very hard in the morning and I suspect they didn't cut them this day...if you love a challenge, play this course!

I had an amazing day. It was the nicest golf club that I've been to. The views were amazing and the holes were challenging. The hot dog I had for lunch was not cooked all the way through however.

Hands down my absolute favourite golf course! The layout of every hole is extremely enjoyable and at times challenging. Their staff and starter are very friendly, the greens, teeboxes and fairways are very well maintained. They have large touch screens on every cart which come in handy showing you an Overhead view of each hole, distance of each shot or length to the pin.

Great track. I didn't like how reception went. Paid and then was informed there was a 2 hour frost delay. Then I'm told to check with the starter to see how long the wait is going to be. Seemed a bit backward to me. You tell me the guy in the proshop doesn't have a walkie-talkie to check. The 13th green was under repair, and no one from the proshop to the starter to the Marshall mentioned it. The pin is at the end of the fairway, so obviously not what my GPS told me.

Great round of golf today considering the time of year, starter was helpful and very pleasant & friendly. Challenging course for sure but will be back in the future!

First 15 holes were amazing having a great day out with my family, 15th hole my cart stops working halfway down the fairway. Took me two tries to get a hold of the clubhouse. When they finally came down with a new cart for me, the one male employee drove right past me because the people ahead of me were too close to the green and not on the path, leaving me standing there in the heat while the rest of my group plays on and a line forms at the tee box. Finally he comes back doesnt say anything to me throws my back on the back of the cart he was on and told me to enjoy the rest of my day. The fact that he would prioritize people parking too close to the green over customer service is shocking. When asked the group said he told them it was a respect thing. But wouldny it be more respectful to help the stuck player in the middle of the fairway? I really hope this employee doesn't deal with customers on a daily basis. Will not be returning. Nor would i suggest this course to anyone who is trying to enjoy a day with their family. Many other courses happy to help and put customer service first.

Attended a celebration of life recently. Staff were excellent and service was great. Well done!

Absolutely loved this course, challenging and long. Perfect course for many rounds. Great customer service, food is good as well.

Black Diamond is a Championship golf course. It challenges every part of the golf game. The view from most tee blocks were completely breath taking. The back drop of mature pine and coniferous tree really made it exciting to play. The bunkers were all well laid out. A poor long drive caused me to hit out of one of them. A valley the entire way in pretty much open area's. Several holes were cut in the forest area. A precision shot off the tee and to the green was an absolute must there. My favorite hole was ten. Greens with ponds near or in front of them were the most difficult. The sixteenth hole play ability is extremely hard. I would move the tee blocks more South West to provide a better angle to the hole. The twelve hole going up hill could use a fine lower cut beyond the green. That way you can chip it on the green off the hill at the back. I like how this hole challenges the golfer to hit two perfect shots. Perhaps a green surround would be better suited for the eighteenth hole. It doesn't reward the golfer enough. The entire layout was good everything was nice and close. The Club house was up to date. The gardens all looked very nice. Patio was a joy to be at. Cart girl was extremely friendly and provided wonderful service. Great layout. Some tough holes but all fair. Greens are fast and true and the staff all friendly and politeToday after golf we all grabbed lunch. Everyone said the same thing. It was delicious. Several different items ordered and all were excellent. Service was equally as outstanding.
