K + A Goldens

We got our beautiful Golden, Lilah, from K + A Goldens two years ago. She is a wonderful, smart and good-natured dog (honestly, she is our bestie). All of the the dogs at K + A are well taken care of and loved. Kim even taught her some basic commands prior to us picking her up. We are delighted to have Lilah in our family.

Three years ago we searched for a Golden Retriever as we had one before and she was an excellent pet. We liked K+A because Kimberly is a veterinary technician and she has won several agility competitions with Annie. Both Kimberly and Austin are animal lovers which was important to finding a reputable kennel. Kimberly and Austin were both very supportive during the initial months of getting to know our Bruce. We were fortunate enough to even have them bring Annie and Maggie for a visit. Bruce and Maggie are from the same litter. We have had Bruce for three years. He is has the typical disposition of a Golden Retriever he is energetic, very friendly, playful and loves people and other animals. He is very intelligent and was quick to learn commands and responded even to our young grandson. Bruce makes us laugh every day. He is a character who is known to do wolf howls in his sleep. He is a great companion and is never far from us. Bruce loves long walks, playing fetch, chasing a frisbee, and treats.Bruce loves to have his teeth brushed daily. It was very easy to introduce him to all aspects of grooming. Even the dreaded nail clipping is well tolerated by Bruce. He is a very cooperative pet. Kimberly and Austin did a great job breeding for the handsome golden looks and the wonderful golden disposition. We highly recommend K+A Goldens.
