Mike from DOT communications provided was highly professional and provided excellent service. He explained everything in detail and demonstrated excellent knowledge. He worked diligently to make sure he could connect our services despite challenges posed by the weather. He was friendly and amazing to deal with from beginning to end. Thank you, Mike!

You can see from my review history that I am not one to voice complaints often or unnecessarily, but I am here. I used DOT Communications to install a cell booster for my home. They were prompt, kind and courteous when they came to install it, and at that time I was sold an alternate booster then the one I requested, and did so of my own choice, as I was assured by the owner that this was the top of the line model and would guarantee crystal clear calls. However, I still have at most signal 2 bars, but only 1 the vast majority of the time and am continually having problems with people being able to hear me on the phone. The lack of improved signal is disappointing, but even more so is that when I contacted them about the issue I was told that a $120 service call would have to be paid for them to come out and investigate the issue, and that I should be complaining to the manufacturer of the unit. This is after paying DOT Communications over $1,600 for the unit and installation.YMMV, but I would recommend finding an alternate installation company.**Edited to reply to Owner's response;First and foremost, I would have preferred to have this conversation in private and, in fact, I tried to do that when I called your office yesterday, told Alyssa about my problem and was that you would give me a call that afternoon. Instead, she emailed me back a few hours later relaying the message from you that I could pay $120 to book a service call and passing me off to the equipment manufacturer.Just as everything I have shared is true, what you say below it also true, albeit selective and defensive. What you failed to share is how I proactively raised the concern of the hill behind me, both when I first called and booked the installation with Alyssa and again when you and your two trainees arrived. Do you recall assuring me that upgrading to the omni-directional antenna would alleviate the potential hill issue since there were two cell towers in the other, downhill, direction?Do you also recall the reason why I had to call and reschedule my original installation date from December 9th to the following Monday? I suspect not, because if you did, or if you had the decency to return my call yesterday, you would remember why I have not been home much, let alone working from here, for the past 2 months.To be clear to anyone reading this, I am not doubting the quality of the installation, but just as he can share pictures of their work, I too can share pictures of phone with 1 bar directly in front of the box you installed in my home. My 1-star rating relates to the customer service I received after I made a call to inquire as to why the booster you installed is not performing to the standards that you assured me it would. I wasn’t even given the courtesy of 2 minute discussion to see what may be the issue before booking a service call, but instead was flatly told to pay $120 before I will be spoken with and/or go pound salt with the manufacturer.I share in your disappointment in this situation, and our exchange, but remind you that if you had simply returned a phone call we wouldn’t be here.

Internet was installed in our cottage by Shane amd Ingo , was very pleasant and respectful., so happy to know Dot Communications.

Jashan installed Explore net at our trailer this morning. He did an excellent job and we were up and running in no time. Highly recommend Dot Communications and Jashan.

My technician was very polite and a very hard worker had difficulties because the Park is hard to get internet and wouldn't give up until it got a spot that worked. I would give 10 stars if I could.Thanks

Dot communications came and installed satellite in my rural property. It turned out i have a steel roof and could not mount it. Mike, the technician, found an amazing solution and for free.Not only that, but Mike drive through a blizzard over 2 hours just to finish up.These guys just made the whole installation process a breeze and amazing. I'd highly recommend then for any service you need and they can do it.

Ingo, Shane & Jake installed our internet at the trailer today smoothly and quickly with no issues. They explained everything that they were doing, made sure I set up my account properly and answered all questions that I had. Overall, ot was a seamless install and I'd recommend them 100%
