If you want your grandma yelled at and mistreated. Here is the place to come! Not only will this hospital give you the hurricane Katrina experience but they will also add racism free of charge.Sadly, we had to take our grandma out of this hospital after the nurse Katrina was very rough moving my grandma (who had a broken hip) and proceeded to yell at her.Make sure you have someone with the elderly at all times here.

I went in for ear pain and was asked about my mental health and told how easy it is to access services online so there's no excuse not to seek counseling. All because I answered admitting questions truthfully. I rarely go to emergency because of doctors like this, all I needed to know was if I had an ear infection and if I needed antibiotics. I was repeatedly ignored about WHY I was in there, and continuously questioned about my mental health. Looking back on the interaction I was 100% racially profiled. I went in after days of pain and sickness so I looked terrible, I was crying in pain from the ear ache and I realize now that I probably looked like a strung out indian" because that is exactly how I was treated by the DOCTOR. The nurses were kind to me at least. Westlock Emergency is just as bad as anywhere for treating people based on their skin/culture."

My mother had hip replacement surgery recently and our experience here was Fabulous ! From the pre-op through the surgery and check up all the staff was amazing and she received top notch care. Thank you !

Had my foot surgery today and I can't explain enough how great the staff were. Huge shout out to Angie S for the phenomenal help and care today!

Everybody is having budget restraints but they have a good staff and they made us welcome in the Hip and Knee Clinic.

We are fortunate to have Dr, Lategan and his staff to take care of us ! I had a knee replacement last year and it took him no time at all to do this for me . Very professional and work as a team . I was in at 7;00am on my surgery day I was in surgery at 11;30 and done by 2;30 and by evening was pushing a walker to the washroom and the next morning by 11;30 I was on my way home to red Deer AB ! Was there pain ? Yes but its to be expected after having a total knee replacement ! Did it turn out well ? Yes I am very satisfied , and am planning on returning for a hip replacement as soon as possible ! Thank you Dr ! By the way the man likes Billtong a South African jerky type treat! LOL

I spent 8 days here and had 3 surgeries. I cannot express my gratitude and love for the staff enough. The nurses and doctors here are heroes. Dont listen to the negative reviews they come from negative people. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me. Dr. Lategan is the best in the business and nurses like Doug, Abby, Marie and Kathy are my heroes. There are a couple of other nurses who cared for me everyday who's names I forget but you know who you are. The cleaning staff and food service people were friendly faces to see everyday. Thank you. Went into the ER for a car accident. Front end Staff were very disrespectful and rude to us. We were still in shock and they acted annoyed with us and completely disregarded our state. One of the nurses threw a clipboard at us when we were leaving and preceded to talk about us while we were still visually there. Horrible experience.

All the staff were super friendly and helpful! Especially Angie! 10/10 would destroy knee again and go to Westlock

The staff are very Lippy and told my friend to drive 40 minutes to pick up a doctors note and then proceeded to not give them one after a car accident
