Dollarama

This location is big with alot to choose from. Staff are weird and make you feel uncomfortable. At any given time there are homeless junkies with mental problems roaming the isles. Not a great location to bring your children to. It's also beside a liquor store. But hey it's a dollar store. It's okay at that.

shelves are either full of empty space or overfilled. checkout can be a hassle, rarely more than 1 open with a line moving slowly.quick pickup of the absolute basics when ur not in a rush ... it's great. there's many others that have better selection with better service though

Horrible behaviour from staff in this store today. Publicly humiliating a homeless man by blocking their noses and spraying air freshener all around him for the whole store to see while he innocently paid for all his stuff at the self checkout. Also laughing the entire time! To make matters worse their superior stood by and watched as this happened. Very upsetting to see someone in this vulnerable position getting treated this way.

I shop here everyday. From cleaning supplies to arts and crafts, I get everything I need from Dollarama. It's definitely a must, especially when you are on a fixed income. I see everybody there shopping. It's your everyday go to store for just about anything not everything but almost. Definitely take a look.

This Dollarama is kind of a hidden gem. Not everybody knows about it because it is at a spot that is not the easiest to get to but they do have a selection that other stores don't which makes it well worth the trip. They have a really good toy aisle for kids, and they have good on-site security. because of the store's location some grifters like to shoplift, but don't let that deter you because security is there to keep everyone safe. Take your kid there and they will find toys at are not at the other stores so that makes it a lot of fun.

DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS HERE! Due to very very high incidence of junkies committing fraud, all gift cards sold will have their usefulness delayed until you verify your purchase through customer service with a picture of the receipt, both sides of the gift card AND packaging. Then you will have to wait for THAT to get processed which may take as little as 10 hours, or as long as a week.

This place is really great as far as stock goes its huge instore shopping its wheelchair accessable but its tight in the isles. The check out is its downfall. No one explains how the self serve registers computer check out goes so if you have never dealt with computer check out and cash machine you may be stuck there. No tellers are available they have removed the customary service now its up to you. I found it frustrating and confusing not to mention the staff on the floor were anything but helpful in tjis regard. Bring lots of five dollar bills youll need them for the cash machine. Do not give staff on the floor a large bill to break, my experience is you will lose most of it and if you argue about it or complain they walk away. I suppose they can afford it since this last quarter report says dollarama made 261 million dollars in profit. There is little parking room outside best to get there by transit or cab or uber.

Okay, I get that this is a dollar store and you’re going to shop here if it’s the most convenient one for you… however, the customer service at this place is ridiculous.My young daughter and I ran over there from a hotel and arrived 5 minutes before they closed, knowing we had just enough time to get in and out with the couple items we needed. When we got to the door, the woman working there was blocking us from entering saying they were closed. I politely pointed out it’s not 7pm yet and after the people coming out (that she was also blocking from leaving) started yelling at her to let us in, she finally did. We grabbed our items and were at the check out by 6:58 and the staff there were trying to rush everyone out and were being rude to other customers trying to get through self checkout.Terrible experience, definitely not cool to advertise that you close at 7pm but not allow people to enter 5 minutes beforehand. No one coming in 5 minutes before a store closes is coming in for a leisurely stroll through the store. They’re there knowing exactly what they need.

This is a very handy dollarama at harbor center its next to waterfront station and Canada place cruise ship terminal ,Gastown tourist destination . Its got tons of stuff in here , if your a local or a tourist this is a good place

Good prices. It is small but has a lot of things. You can self check out.
