Dan's Ice Cream Shoppe
Not sure if this has to do with inflation & the price of meat. I ordered 2 subs, these guys gave me subs with sample amounts of roast beef & chicken. I paid over $ 20 for 2 veggie subs with a sprinkle of meat on them…. Very disappointed. Definitely going to subway next time.

This place is my first stop every time I am home the cookies stay soft for days after you buy a dozen if they last that long and honestly I don’t know what magic you do to keep the cookie dough ice cream literally the perfect temperature so the dough is still soft and the ice cream is still cold but it’s perfect… my first memory with my grandfather is him bringing me here as a kid and the quality has never dropped

We were traveling and stayed overnight in the area and decided to stop in for an ice cream after our supper. It reminded me of a restaurant I used to go to when I was just a kid. The red and chrome swivel stools at the counter and the red and chrome tables and chairs.....loved it! We'll be back if we're in the area again.

It was amazing . I tried their subs and their famous soft serve with homemade waffle cones . It was all delish! I enjoyed every bite of all of it .

I was very impressed with Dan's treats and good soft ice cream, friendly and excellent team working staff producing orders quickly. Next time I am in Barrington I will definitely make it a point to stop here again.

You cannot beat dans subs, homemade sub bread, the Mayo is delicious, I’d say a mix of sour cream and Mayo? Either way amazing, I always get extra. I’ve never been disappointed coming.

Great little spot to grab a wrap, iced cream, or treat yourself to a dessert. Was the only spot open past 8pm when I arrived to the city so I ordered a chicken wrap. Lots of add on options and it’s was quick and a hearty size. Cookies were freshly made and melted in your mouth.
