great dog park and has an outhouse. Nice walking paths and plenty of parking. Also has a playground for the kids

Go visit the food forest and join the volunteers Tuesday and Saturday mornings. Lots to do in the ongoing development of a permaculture providing units, fruits, herbs, and a few vegetables.

Really nice little of leash dog park. Benches, picnic tables, and nice shady spots under the trees. Water and poop bags are available for the dogs. My only complaint is twice we've gone and there were no poop bags. But maybe it was just bad timing. Seems like a popular place, lots of dogs coming and going, but not overcrowded like some dog parks in Nanaimo. One of my fav for sure since my toddler can play in the grass as well.

I go for long walks every evening and these places give me serenity and peace of mind when the day is long and hot it's a nice place to chill
