Café Leonidas Cote-des-Neiges

A treat now and again, these milk and dark chocolates confections are always extremely fresh. The trip to Leonidas is especially worthwhile during holidays, where they have special flavours you can't taste the rest of the year. My favourites: the banana cream and champagne truffle chocolates. You can also sit inside and have coffee or hot chocolate and they also serve ice cream.

Small classic cafe with basic choices, clean and good friendly service. Tasty chocolates.

The praline chocolates are absolutely delicious! They have many different types of boxes with preset weights and prices, but if you’re staying the hotel and simply want a few pieces for desert, that can be arranged too. I paid $0.90 + tax per piece for the praline. It was delicious, and made for a nice dessert!

Excellent service and great food! Went here for breakfast while I was staying at LTR next door and couldn't be more happier with the service and quality of food! Will be returning for sure :)

Great place to have a breakfast if you are staying in Terrasse Royal hotel or are in Cote-des-Neiges area.

I was looking for a place to get together with local moms from Côte-des-Neige neighbourhood and I found Leonidas. It's an ice cream/chocolate/coffee shop and it's adjacent to Hotel Terasse Royale by a doorway passage. I spoke to the serving staff about coming with strollers beforehand to make sure it was ok. The staff was quite friendly and open to hosting us for a few hours on Monday afternoons because there were very few customers during that time. We came and stayed for a couple of hours and my baby was ready for a nap and she was getting cranky. There were no other customers but me and one other mom whose baby was quiet. Then another mom walked in with her baby when the owner ran in from the hotel lobby and told us that it's impossible to run business with three babies crying all the time." By business he meant the hotel. I said "Are you telling me to leave?" And he said yes. Last thing I remember was the owner angrily holding the door for all three of us to get out with the strollers. I had finished my coffee before he lost his temper

Very cute little Café. An order of morning tea and a fruit pancake were served in fine china, which were quite presentable. From this place the Cathedral can be seen at a short distance out of the window.
