Great flavour always but the portions and service is not consistent. I’ve been three times this month.. yes I love shawarma!… The first visit was totally brag worthy… I enjoyed an authentic wrap (large) made to perfection and couldn’t wait to order again a few days later. Then ordered two more times in the following week and the same wrap was barely half the size, fries under cooked and couldn’t taste the garlic sauce. Everything was much less. Thought I’d try again (damn cravings!)…. and then was last nights “large wrap”…. Might as well call it a small. Pop can for size reference.

Food was ok, flavorless. Don’t know why this place has so much good rating. May be no-one visiting recently.On Sunday evening, we are the only one here.Won’t be coming again.

Ir should be one of the best Shawarma in KW. Even better than other Shawarma plus branches. I used to order English style Shawarma which has lettuce, tomato, and onions. Also they have an offer two chicken Shawarma for $19 which is reasonable. It used to be $14 before corona and they were offering Arabic tea ☕️.

I’ve been going to shawarma plus since I moved to Waterloo back May 2020. I’ve been here every week since then (sometimes even two or three times) and I’ve never not enjoyed it. It’s honestly one of the things I look most forward to at the end of the work week. I’ve ordered the same thing (regular chicken on rice plus a 1/2 pound of extra chicken in the side) because I bring it home and throw it all into a bowl and BOOM, amazing. It’s the only shawarma place I know that does both through and breast meat and you can really taste the quality. I’ve been to other shawarma places in the region and nothing has matched shawarma plus. Even people around the office know what I’m having for dinner in a Friday. 10/10 is what I give their shawarma, just amazing. I’ve tried their wraps and beef on rice too and they’re great too but to me, regular chicken on rice plus 1/2 pound of extra chicken on the side is where it’s at.

Ive been to the Waterloo and Mississauga location on Eglinton and 9th line and this is by far one of the best shawarmas I have had! My go-to is the chicken shawarma classic style and its always great! Love their garlic sauce! Friendly staff and delicious food!

False Advertising — Stopped in there looking for a falafel plate with hummus. Looked at their video menu board and saw a lovely plate with falafel, salad, hummus with olive oil and lots of rice. Fantastic. You're allowed two sides so I asked for rice and veggies (like the photo). Asked if hummus came with it. The guy said, I'll give you hummus on the side. I replied you don't to give it to me, I'll buy it. I just want hummus like on the menu — pointing to the image of the falafel plate with about 1/2 cup of hummus. He got condescending at that point and like, relax bro, you'll get your hummus. Anyways.... you can see from the pic what I got was kinda busted.Like, I don't care if I have to pay extra, just be honest. Yeah whatever, I'm a Karen. Otherwise the food was good, portions are excellent. Inside is cozy with bench seating.

These guys are awesome! They know me by name and face. When I order online they have my order ready for me by the time I walk through the door, greeting me with a welcoming smile. The food is amazing, deserving of all the awards they have received. My family have dietary restrictions and they do an amazing job making sure they are safe with our food following safety precautions and even remaking our diner once when one person didn’t follow proper protocols. They are awesome!

Jawad Shawarma wrap has really good flavour but sauce was not evenly distributed, lots of spots were too dry. Should ask for extra sauce next time.Might be Uber inflation but my falafel were tiny and not worth the high cost. Tasted pretty good though.
