All About Windows - DEFOGGING (2007)

Just had a service man come out and look at our windows that were fogging up, he knew immediately what the problem was and knew exactly how to fix it. He told me what to do and never even pushed his companies service on us! I'm extremely impressed with his customer service and honesty! I would highly recommend these guys as a first step to any window related issue that you might have!

This is the 2nd time we use their service after 3 years. All the windows they fixed work very well. It’s definitely saving lots of money on replacing windows. Highly recommend!

Had my front tri pane picture window done twice by this company. And both times the results were unsatisfying. Should have replaced in the first place.

Nice couple that owns the company but unfortunately horrible workmanship on the windows and it simply just does not work. Would not recommend.

On Monday Oct 16, 2017, Jeff and Claire (owners of All About Windows) came to my house to inspect the window which had a small fogging problem in the middle and offered me a quote. Then we setup a meeting to do the job. However, they missed to attend the meeting. After missing the first meeting, we had to set up another appointment to fix the window on Sunday Oct 22, 2017.The description of the service they provided is as follows: they made four holes at the corners of the glasses of the window from outside and washed the area between glasses. The window is a triple-pane window. They told me that they would come back in a couple of days (after the washed area had dried) to complete the last stage of the repairing procedure. I paid them off at this stage.After they left, I noticed stains all over the internal surface of the glass of the window. I also saw some white droplets (soap residue) on the internal surface.I called the business immediately and reported the problem. They came back for re-inspection. They tried to connect the problem with the stage mentioned in the quote. They said that they had already told me about the pre-existing stains, which noted in the quote as stage 4. I was shocked because they never ever pointed out this matter to me before. The only thing that I was told was about the lifetime warranty which surprisingly I couldn’t find anything about it in the quote/invoice. I told Claire that I trusted her verbal explanation and didn’t pay attention to the details outlined in the invoice. Then she had to add the warranty terms on the receipt by writing. After all, I again showed them the soap residue (droplets) on the surface, yet they refused to take any action and vacuum it by their tools.On Monday Oct 23, I texted them and requested for respraying the window. However, in response they asked me extra charge for respraying. I said if they believed that the window had already pre-existing stains, they could inform me easily in advance. I emphasized that the window was clean and clear before their operation.Instead of taking any action to fix the problem, the business killed the time and due to cold weather, there was no opportunity to finished the job until now.As a result, I was disappointed and decided to terminate the contract and requested for refund on Oct 31, 2017 for the following reasons:1. They never told me anything about the pre-existing residue (stage) problem when I was given the quote.2. The lifetime warranty, which they mentioned in the first meeting, is not specified in the quote/invoice. It means that the warranty condition is not clear.3. The business didn’t take the responsibility of its job and didn’t try to fix the problem.4. The business asked for additional charge for the job which wasn’t done properly in the first place.So, I do not recommend doing business with All About Windows"."

Can't recommend avoiding these folks strongly enough! Al was very confident that his process would fix my window and when it didn't he claimed that it was because the window was stained. A professional would have identified the staining in the first place and not taken my $$. Several attempts to be reimbursed have gone ignored.
