Sugarrays Boxing Gym

I’ve been going to Sugarrays for a while now, the training is incredible and the people are very helpful and friendly.I joined this gym to start boxing and it’s going great. They offer awesome workouts with lots of boxing techniques and training. You can really feel yourself improving and getting stronger.I definitely recommend this gym to anyone who wants to either start boxing, build their strength and skills, or get the perfect workout in.

Been going to this for about 3 months, and has seen great results. The trainers here are amazing. It’s great if you have a busy schedule because you can come anytime between 2-10 and get 1-on-1 training from the coaches.

I don’t go here but my friend does and he said it’s a good gym also the staff are very nice I had to use the washroom really bad and was walking around NewWest trying to find a place to go and Sugarrays let me use it very nice people hope them all the best

Great place to get a work out in, Max is a Ukrainian Master of sports in Boxing , and Gustavo is a master level boxing coach, he is a very experienced man that trained the national team of boxing in Mexico, all around Its a great environment and great people to be around.

i have been boxing at this gym for 2 years now. overall i have had a great experience. this gym provides a unique experience because they give you a 24/7 access. the coaches come from 2-10 mondays -fridays. I started my boxing career in this gym, I have progressed alot and am hoping to have my first amateur fight. We have 3 coaches, Max, Gustavo, and Braeden. they help all the people in the gym which i find very useful. i pay around 150$ a month for a 24/7 access . i highly recommend starting with this gym no matter the skill set.

Backstory: I signed up for the gym back in 2018 when prices were lower, and through some loyalty discounts, my membership fee bottomed out at $25/bi-weekly. A great price for a boxing gym.A few days ago, I received the unfortunate email that my membership was being cancelled because they could no longer afford to offer this price to members, and that I would need to sign up again at the current price of $65 bi-weekly +$10 monthly maintenance fee"No notice

Going here for a while great gym. All the coaches work hard and help everyone. Overall very friendly, nice, good gym I recommend 100%

Absolutely love the gym and the environment.Great community and great trainers. Max is a wonderful trainer who deeply cares about each and everyone to have fun and become a better boxer. Braeden is a very kind and motivating trainer who pushes you hard and brings the best out of you. And lastly, Gustavo is a great addition to the team who brings a vast amount of experience and boxing knowledge for the members to take advantage of. Highly recommend!

I have been going to this gym for the past couple of years and the experience has been great! The trainers are awesome and are always on hand to give you advice and put you through drills. I really enjoy going to the gym and find it easy to spend time here. The other members are awesome as well! Always willing to give you props and encouragement. Great place!

From 2018 (when I initially joined) to 2019, I had a mostly great experience: the trainers were friendly and attentive and I really felt a sense of community there along with the members. During this time though, there were some communication issues with emails not being responded to and poor business practices by the owner, Bob. There were multiple instances where prices for memberships were changed on the fly, seemingly whenever he felt like it.At one point, there was a promotion for essentially a stamp card for classes for a good price (I don't remember the details) so I brought a friend to come try out the gym one day and then at the end of their session, they wanted to purchase the punch card. However, we were informed that the price for it went up with no notice within a super short amount of time ( a span of a few days to a week since the promotion started)I also referred a friend to this gym and they ran into so many issues such as her fob not working multiple times and no response to emails when she would reach out about it.So I obviously feel bad that I recommended this gym to two friends and they've had poor experiences.To top it all off, my partner, who is also a loyal member since 2018, recently had a horrible experience with Bob. You can read his review for the details (poster name is Nikola) but essentially he was grandfathered into a special rate of $25/bi weekly because they had a loyalty discount for each year he was with the gym. Suddenly a few weeks ago, he receives an email from Bob stating that they can no longer honor the special price of the membership and it is effectively cancelled. No warning whatsoever, no alternative, and just no respect for a longtime member. Not to mention he, and I, both continued to support the gym through COVID by continuing to pay our membership in exchange for credited months (which we never received by the way.) The way Bob treated him is such bad business practice. You have to honor a customer's previous pricing if it's a long standing membership, or at the very least offer them some options. As a small business owner myself, I understand that the cost of doing business has gone up, but I would never have a client book with me at a certain rate and then suddenly just cancel their booking and charge them my new rate. That would be horrible customer service.I would not recommend anyone to support this gym due to these reasons. Pay your hard earned money to a different gym.
