Dream Nails

Brought the wife here a while back and they were fine. Called to book her another appointment and they were very rude and unhelpful. Constantly asking why they were talking to a man and not my wife (who was busy at the time, so I was calling around for her to make an appointment.)As soon as she heard how I was spoken to, she wasn't interested in returning to a place that would be that disrespectful to her husband calling on her behalf.Don't go here.Called to discuss this behaviour and the woman answering the phone threatened me with the police. For 2 phone calls. Very immature and unprofessional.

The nail technician was lovely but the owner who is at the front desk is cold and rude. She came in while I was getting my nailsdone and glared at the technician because she was doing a bit of quick art and that wasn’t scheduled. She seemed like a nightmare to work for and the price is wayyyy too much. I wont be back due to the owner’s behaviours.

Alyssa was very sweet and made my experience amazing. I love my nails and it was a relaxing time. Great salon and nice people.

I selected Dream Nails for a pedicure for my Mom, and manicures for my two daughters. The experience was variable. My Mom had a great pedicure and experience! But in spite of paying full cost (dream mani) for my daughters, my youngest had only about 35 minutes of care and was rushed through the process. It was a disappointing first manicure for her - and you only get one first!!! While, as a child, she does have smaller hands and nails which may explain less time for the mani, my daughter left feeling the technician rushed and mentioned this to me without prompting when we got to the car. I would advise against booking a full service for children at Dream Nails as they may not be given full attention.

The girl was nice, but chairs were so uncomfortable my back and bum hurt so much after getting up. I could hardly stand i was so sore. The lady who done my pedicure, she didnt file my feet at all hardly even touched them. No massage, i walked away thinking was that it? I mean you pay for a service you hope to get a good scrub, and a great massage on your leg & foot during a pedicure it was so disappointing. Im 2 days after my pedicure and my feet are so dry its like ive never even had one. Horrible experience wont be back!

I had a Pedicure by Anastacia and I Love that the Salon when you walk in isn't an assembly line of ppl getting Mani's and Pedi's. It's very calm and inviting, Anastacia, who Immigrated to Canada from the Ukraine, I was happy to see she got a good job within the few months she's been here, and did a great job, I look forward to returning when I'm healed from Surgery!!! Totally worth the money, Pedi's have their own room, is the perfect spot for unwinding, and relaxing, without all eyes on you, and the beautiful work she did Obviously made me happy as well!!

I had a wonderful experience. The staff were amazing and the work very professional. Went on holidays after, no polish chips or problems at all. Highly recommend.

Loved it!! Just got my nails done here, i was very pleased with the service, both ladies were really nice. I am pretty picky when it comes to my nails but the tech was very lenient and fixed what I didn't like. Very neat and clean lines. The atmosphere was also decent. Calm and clean. Overall It was one of my better experiences having my nails done and I will be returning!

I was so excited to find a salon that did BioSculpture nails as we are new to St Johns and I love this product! I’ve had my nails done many many times with bio sculpture at a spa in BC and never had an issue but the set I got done at Dream Nails was disappointing. They started popping off just 9 days after I had them done and within 12 days four had popped off, first one I was doing macrame so nothing crazy, second one I was folding laundry, this should not make a very expensive set of nails easily pop off. I had the first one fixed and paid $10 but after the second one popped off the day after I decided I wasn’t going to keep paying $10 for each nail that came off. I called and the lady at the desk was rude and was trying to blame me for this happening. Saying it must be that I’m on a new medication (I’m not on any) or that I’ve changed my diet (also not true), then she kept accusing me of things. I had asked if they would just redo my set as I’ve Never had this happen and maybe something weird just happened with the bond coat. She finally agreed to look into it and said she’s call me back. Well it’s been over two weeks and she never called. Sarah who did my nails was great, I really liked her, the lady at the front counter was awful and had terrible customer service. I will not be going back.
