I dread coming here. Their food is overpriced and never fresh, always near expiry. Their staff are never around if you have questions and if you do have questions they don't know the answer. They have 4 half-sized cash registers but only 2 are ever open so the lines are super long, so I don't know why they don't just have 2 full-sized cash registers to make unloading groceries faster and speed up the process.

Very convenient for getting all your day to day stuff under one roof. Besides ...the rates are fairly competitive. Do check out their weekly flyer as well. You get some good deals.

This is a very sus Metro. Multiple staff have attitude (on different occasion) one handed me a spoon while grabbing the scoop with bare hand while the other was chit-chatting with coworker, made us wait, didn't scan Air Miles even though I mentioned it over 4 times loudly, attempted to gaslight us. Avoid this location. The one in Liberty village is much nicer.

Great location! Very clean, nice staff, great sushi and other items! Probably one of the most well kept locations I've been to. Will definitely come here again to purchase groceries and other items!

Today I found behaviour of the employees who work at the deli section quite shocking. There was never any good service there and the employees look angry and don't acknowledge you sometimes but I've never said anything assuming they were stressed or tired. Today however I was ignored for 15 mins whilst waiting by the counter and I was the only one waiting. One girl peeked from behind the wall, saw me standing, and went back to whatever she was doing. I have asked the man tending to the fish counter if he could get someone to come and serve me and he said deli wasn't his area. Finally the girl decided to come up and served me with such attitude I only asked for two things even though I wanted to buy more things. I just felt like such a nuisance. If you hate your job so much then quit. The manager should be fired. I will not be paying premium prices, in a supermarket that's supposed to be one of the better ones, and be treated like trash.

If I could I would give a zero. I bought a red pepper dip from the store on April 12 2023. And the best before was December 2022 when u go to the store next day to return it the employee doesn’t even say a sorry and feel like they did wrong she is like here is your refund and did not even apologize or ask if there is anything they could do to compensate for my time rather she is said that’s it and when I asked if that’s all they could do. Never returning this store again I wonder how many products I purchased before were expired

The food is not fresh! 3 times I have seen expired items! I bought chicken and had to through it as it smells horrible. The manager is really doing a lousy job in this location!

Debra in the bakery is an absolute gem. Helped us get a cake made right away and was very accommodating. Fantastic customer service.

Truly the worst grocery store in Toronto. Maybe even the whole world. Actually, it’s quite possibly the worst grocery store in the entire universe.Don’t ever expect to get everything on your grocery list… at least one item will always be out of stock. Overpriced for everything. Dirty and dingy looking. It’s like shopping at Food Basics but paying Longos prices. Produce is never fresh and you pay exorbitant prices for it. I hate Loblaws and everything they stand for, but Metro is way worse.

I like the quality of the meat that this supermarket sells. But it's unpleasant that you still haven't finished withdrawing your purchases and the cashier is already charging another customer and the space is very small. They should be a little more kind and considerate.
