Checked in on the 10th feb 2022. The younger girl at the front desk. Very polite. The older lady really should find a different line of work cause there is no way she should be dealing with the public. She be better off working in the laundry dept. we stay in hotels every night. And if the town wasn’t booked solid I would have stayed somewhere else. I will be calling in the morning to talk to management

Kids enjoyed the stay, especially the indoor slide. The hot tub could use some maintenance. Nice interior ambiance. We had dinner at the restaurant, my husband was surprised by the final bill, the post on the board was different from the charge because it was a new year's eve special.

First off, I’d stay there again. For the price on Expedia it was at least $50 less than a similar place in Winnipeg. So if traveling east to west on the #1 go the extra few minutes. The room I had was on the first floor (inside of the 100’s section). It was clean but did smell a little stale. AC worked. The BEST part was that this room had no windows to the outside. There was a window to the courtyard inside and if I put the wheelie chair against the curtain it blocked out the light. No windows also meant quiet; I could not hear the Main Street. Lastly, no windows meant that as we approach summer solstice the room was very dark. Slept like a rock. Beds were very comfy. There’s a pool and tavern that I didn’t use.

I called twice last week to bring up a serious issue that came up during our stay there on November 12, 2022.The first woman said she would get back to me by the next morning, after my call to the hotel on November 14, 2022. I did not hear back from her. I called the hotel again on Thursday or Friday last week and spoke to a man that said he would personally hand the message to one of the ladies he believed I spoke to. I still have yet to hear back.My friend and I booked rooms next to each other and had a small birthday party for her daughter. We have four young children between the two of us. After swimming in your pool for a short time they all began coughing. I noticed that we all began coughing and had burning eyes and noses. We left the pool area and asked the front desk attendant, she wrote us a meal voucher (not enough for a wrap) for the restaurant and said all she could do was close the pool. The pool was not closed and was not closed the next morning either. The chlorine and/or ventilation in the pool area was terrible. We did not get much use of the pool that evening and could not go back in the next morning due to the issues it caused with us and our children. The children had painful breathing and coughs and we had to seek medical attention due to the issue in your pool. This issue ruined our stay and caused issues with our children for days! I am extremely upset that nobody seems to care to discuss this issue with me.The hotel has still not reached out to me after I addressed this issue three times with them.As a secondary concern, our rooms were far smaller and much spacious than advertised.Edit: I was contacted by the hotel and was offered a suite each for my friend and I. The suites were very nice and out second stay was much better. Will return in the future!

Called the day prior to book and to explain my situation: that I am traveling across Canada, and sleeping in the day. I arrived at 11 am and it is now almost 2 pm and still the sound of drills or some kind of work tool. I can't believe it's been this long. Also, the tub doesn't drain. Had to get out fast to avoid standing in dirty soap water.Biggest problem: smell of mold. This is in fact the worst part. But I must say the cleaning crew do a great job. It is clean in the room, an you have everything you could need. So this could have been 5 stars without the power tools still going on (and I need sleep!), and the moldy smell, and the drainless tub.

Room was rather expensive for what you get. Very dated. Reminiscent of the 80s. Was very disappointed when I received my CC bill. Hotel was not very safe either. 2 of the exit doors were broken and unable to be locked.

Sure glad I stopped and got a room. Stayed Saturday night at a motel and payed more than at Caad Inns Sunday night. Beautiful hotel. Rooms are super clean and roomy. Bed was very comfortable. The curling club is in rear. Lounge upstairs but was closing when I arrived. Managed a drink and watched the last of Super Bowl. The hotel halls are done up nice. The pool looked like fun. Lots of parking. Right in back area is a super sized can of Coke a cola. Hopefully next time in area there will be rooms available.
