Auberge la Marguerite

This is our 6th overnight here since we started our annual Maritime vacation from Ontario. To say Janic and Christian work hard is an understatement. The Auberge is always a highlight for us. Comfortable bed, cozy ambiance, super friendly service. The attention to detail is impeccable. The dining onsite is gourmet featuring fresh local ingredients. This couple knows how to run a business. They are amazing! There is a hot tub outside (for guests) in the beautiful gardens where the landscaping and set up are charming & private. I wish I could give the Auberge 10 stars!! Conveniently located off the main highway, I highly recommend the Auberge for anyone travelling the Ontario/Martime corridor. Merci beaucoup, we will be back ❤

WOW ! Quelle belle auberge au coeur de Lislet et à deux pas du musée maritime Bernier. Les propriétaires passionnés et résidants offrent 8 chambre à louer portant le nom de fleurs. La table du déjeuner est succulente et variée. Les menus du souper sont gastronomiques et le prix des vins raisonnables. Nous occupions la suite Coquelicot. Très belle chambre offrant toutes les commodités d'un grand hôtel. Stationnement facile et en quantité. Nous y retournerons, c'est certain. Chapeau bas aux proprios

Lovely accommodation, friendly hosts, excellent food!

Amazing hospitality, beautiful culture and decorations. Operated during a severe snowstorm with professional service and food. I'd recommend it to anyone!

What a beautiful little gem! We were lucky to find this hotel while travelling and needed a place to stay for a night. The rates were fantastic and the option of breakfast is an extra treat. The hotel itself is adorable with decor that makes you feel right at home. The cozy room we stayed in offered free WiFi, TV and cable box, double sized bed, two sitting chairs, a fridge, coffee maker and a gorgeous upgraded bathroom. Little touches here and there made the room feel welcoming and vintage at the same time. This will absolutely be our new place to stay when we are travelling through Québec. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

On a eu une magnifique soirée à cette charmante auberge de l'Islet-sur-mer! Les propriétaires sont merveilleux, aux petits oignons avec leur clientèle, et que dire de la nourriture qu'on y trouve! Nous avons pris la table d'hôtes du soir et tout était parfait, une cuisine faite avec amour qui met en valeur les produits du terroir de main de maître. La chambre était coquette et le déjeuner était à la hauteur du souper, là aussi un soucis du détail et un service irréprochable.Merci pour le beau moment!

Staying at La Marguerite is a totally delightful experience. I would highly recommend this auberge. The hosts, who spoke English, were very welcoming and just the right amount of friendly. The rooms, clean, welcoming and comfortable. This is like staying at your favourite aunt's. Quaint, charming, the gardens are lovely. Then there's the food......absolutely first class. It was a wonderful experience, I would go back at the first opportunity.

Charming old B&B right on main street in L'Islet. Across the street from the Bernier Maritime museum. Janic and Christian are dedicated hosts. If you are able, make sure to have the 5 course dinner in the evening, (costs extra but what an experience! All food locally sourced, and Christian is a great chef).Would have liked to stay longer but this was just a one-night stop on pour way home to Toronto from Halifax.

Such a beautiful place and experience! Highly recommend it!
