Meet with a doctor here is even harder to meet with Doug Ford. I just survived from a heavy traffic accident, the air bag shot my head, and caused me not able to see clearly and lost a lot of hearing now, even lost the balance. They even do not allow me to wait their for any possible available doctor. The staff in the counter made me felt very disappointed to this department, I even wondered did they really considered for student.

Hard to get appointments, even though that’s on their system. The older receptionist can often be hostile but I’ve had an overall a nice experience with the younger staff. I know they make such a big effort - please be kind and respectful.Apart from that, the place is always clean and really nice.

The administration staff aren’t very friendly. As I was dropping off a specimen sample, the older white lady acted disgusted as she took my bags, even though it’s her job. Made me feel bad. Shame on uOttawa for making students feel like this. Also, booking an appointment online was a pain. I ended up calling the clinic, explaining my situation, and getting a booking over the phone. I was trying to look elsewhere for healthcare. I hope I don’t have to go back. However I will say, the nurse practitioner that I did see was lovely. Still only 1-star for the administrative staff. Seriously unacceptable.

Website is very bad, almost gave up on trying to seek help because of how disheartening it is to navigate. Constant texts prompting me to confirm my appointments which link me to back to the initial booking page. Services themselves, both counselling and medical, are good from my experience.

The process of getting an appointment is so difficult for no reason. I had previously been able to book over the phone, but when I recently called the lady told me that the only way to book was through the online portal at midnight when spots open up. I have been checking 3 consecutive days for appointments at midnight and absolutely nothing! It is insane how difficult it is to access such an important service

3 ★s for the administration/technology but 5★s for the actual service!Overall I'm hoping they can devote some time to editing and polishing their systems to make it easier for everyone but I understand they must be quite busy.Re: admin/tech etc:- Incredibly difficult to navigate making an appointment (the app is improperly formatted: the virtual" appointment option actually only shows mental health appointments and the "in person" option is everything else including virtual appointmens). They "release" appointment spots for the next 48 hours at 6am daily (I only found this out thanks to a helpful receptionist). I would recommend just calling if you can't find an appointment on the app as often the app would say none were available but I'd call and get in the same day.- the app that shows you your test results does not work (this is a known bug)- difficulty getting follow-up info through the appRe: the actual service + team:Great team and always seen fast. Waited on hold on the phone for 2 hours and then the receptionist immediately hung up on me when I said hello.Online booking system is not working, it shows only one appointment available but then says that it is not available when you try to book. Pretty crazy to me that students are paying for this lottery-style healthcare system, especially when it is something as important as mental health. The system before the health and wellness centre was also terrible, but at least I was able to get appointments without spending hours and hours of my life. Unacceptable.

Rude staff. They just repeat some words and don't care about what I was telling. The staff are careless, super rude, lazy, not caring. The older woman that I have seen her twi ce there, talked to me in a very offensive way cause I was 10 min late. This place is for students and it is so disappointing the way they treat students!!!

Had an aweful experience at my therapy intake session. I understand it's an intake session and not an actual session, but I left feeling like I've prostituded myself. I shared personal details and the worker seemed like she did not even hear me. horrible experience. The only bright side was that I got a referal for elsewhere

I've been visiting this clinic ever since it opened this summer as a UOttawa student. NP France Farley was my practioner as I was going through COVID, severe GERD and another infection that required me to visit emergency. She set up many referrals (endoscopy/colonoscopy/ultrasound/ct scan/few blood tests/refer to a surgeon, etc.) to get me treated, which were all done efficiently and swiftly. She was also very friendly and answered every health questions I had in a professional manner, and she remembered even small details about my health issues that I was concerned about. Thanks to this clinic, I fully recovered from the drastic year I've been having since the start of this year. Lastly, The receptionists and other staff members were also very nice in my experience as well, and I've been visiting this clinic over 5 times now.The downside I noticed with this clinic is the app to make an appointment. The app used to work during the summer with not many patients, but now I am forced to call the clinic to make an appointment, as the app will always indicate that every spot is full. You also might need to call the clinic a few times, as the receptionists might be too busy to answer you.On a last note, it requires at least around 14 days to see a practioner here, so this clinic would be best if you're a UOttawa student and don't have a family doctor. If you need a quick walk-in visit, this clinic wouldn't be it.
