This place is an outdoor enthusiasts heaven! We try not to go too often because we just can't help but impulse buy every time we step in there haha!Highly recommend!We buy almost all of our rock climbing gear hear, and occasionally back packing gear as well! Their supply is awesome, but the staff is amazing! Always happy to help and very knowledgeable!Thanks for everything!!!

Thanks so much to the Abbotsford staff for providing such amazing customer service. Been coming here for a while and although MEC has more stuff Valhalla is my number 1 go to and the cash back program is great. Actually being able to come and talk to super knowledge staff, shout out Marcus and the crew, takes the stress out of the gear hunt! Best gear shop I’ve been too, 10/10 recommended you won’t be disappointed!

I've been to both this location and then one in Squamish. In both cases, selection, quality, and price was great. There's a good offerings of products in multiple categories, with different options in terms of colour and size. I bought a couple backpacks from them and they had the size/colours I wanted. Price is comparable to other stores, nothing special, but the cashback is nice. I'll also give 5 stars to the staff, they are helpful/knowledgeable but not in any way pushy. They don't try to sell the more expensive or give you a sale pitch for a particular product.

Update.Be aware that VPO now charges a $40 fee to send in products under a manufacturers warranty, even products that were bought at that location.——Reasonable prices and a great selection for the size of the store. This is my go-to location in Abbotsford for quality outdoors gear. I have bought most of my GoreTex outerwear here, as well as my hiking boots and other outdoors equipment. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable.

If you are looking for quality outdoor clothing and gear this is the place to get it. They are locally owned and focused on bringing in quality items. Not the cheapest place but you do get what you pay for.

I have found very good quality products at the Valhalla pure Abbotsford store. The manager goes above and beyond, the staff are Both knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Ifproblems with the pro I have never been turned away or felt like I was a pain when I came in with issues.

Great place to shop. Very friendly staff.Edit. I brought my son in there today to find hiking boots. We had been all over the lower mainland and struggled to find him a pair. We had experienced horrible customer service and inept staff at multiple locations. Until we got here. Top notch customer service. Knowledgeable and patient staff. Had us in and out with a perfect pair of boots in no time! Absolutely love this place.

The staff here are super friendly and helpful, they helped me find a new pair of mountaineering/ hiking boots, as well as some camping gear. The store has lots of options for hiking, camping, or climbing.

Decent place, knowledgable staff and prices are actually reasonable. I was surprised. I wanted to take my kids rock climbing and was able to pick up two harnesses at a reasonable rate and was on my way to introduce the kids to some top roping. Thanks!
